- Da Vinci investigates the death of a young man working for his father's construction company. Shannon and Leary investigate a decomposed body discovered in the back of a stolen truck. Kosmo helps a woman who thinks her husband is an impostor.—James D. Lankin
- A rotting body is found in a coffin hidden in the back of a stolen pick-up truck. The truck is traced back to a fellow named Jerome, who is staying at a local motel. Jerome eventually confesses that he made an obviously illegal business deal with a stranger by the name of Richard Armstrong to smuggle the body into the US. Jerome tells them of the burial site, which provides evidence as to the deceased, who had a "dead or alive" bounty on his head in the US. Apparently the alleged Richard Armstrong is really Peter Mays, who was the deceased's partner in crime. Based on Sunny's findings from the autopsy, Shannon and Leary suspect Mays was systematically poisoning his partner and looking for a patsy to collect the bounty on his behalf. In tracking Mays, Shannon makes a major tactical error which causes them to lose more than just Mays' trail. Back at the police station, Janice Lawrence comes in wanting to speak to someone in Homicide. She tells Kosmo about a strange man she saw in her house. The homicide issue is that she claims the strange man is pretending to be her husband, but that he isn't her real husband, so this impostor must have killed her real husband. Kosmo speaks to Janice's bewildered husband, who had no idea of his wife's thoughts or why she is thinking this way. Later, Janice, still convinced of her thoughts, decides to settle into a comfortable life with this nice, new stranger. Meanwhile, Da Vinci and Worker's Compensation investigate the death of Ryan Fallan at a home construction site. The construction business is owned by the Fallan family. It looks as if Ryan fell from an upper story of the house, but there were no witnesses to verify that or if so why he fell. Although they see no obvious sign of negligence, both Da Vinci and Norm from the WCB speculate site tampering after the accident to make it look like the site was safe at the time of the death. They are about to charge the Fallan business with negligence when Ryan's father comes up with a more plausible and non-negligent explanation. On the personal front, Shannon is worried when his Alzheimer's stricken wife wanders off.—Huggo
