A serious case, with Two notorious villains.

The Crown intent to charge The Curl brothers, George and Arnold with GBH, demanding money with menaces, racketeering so to speak.

Maybe not my favourite episode so far, but still enjoyable, an intriguing case, with some larger than life characters.

The Curl Brothers are definitely cut from something horrible, they're a bit menacing, a little terrifying, both wonderfully portrayed by Harry Fowler and Harry Landis, two actors that always seemed like such nice Gentlemen.

I've been working my way through a 1950's US series called Target The Corruptors, it has those kind of vibes. I love those old fashioned villains, definitely characters, The Curl Brothers, even the name sounds a bit nasty.

The missing Arthur Herbert McGraw adds a bit of interest, will he appear, or is he set in concrete somewhere in The M16?

7/10.

With menaces....and black comedy!

Warning: Spoilers
As is usual for the series, this is another great story, but is made all the better by a truly delightful script. There are some really funny moments...but don't worry, nothing so silly as to make a mockery of the programme per se, but a script that simply drops in one or two wonderful splutter moments just for the sake of it. The story also explains just how some protection rackets work...and the title of the story just helps to make this even funnier. All of this topped off by a wonderful performance from the brilliant Harry Fowler who plays a criminal who has turned to Christianity...or has he?!
