The squad discovers a group of nuns in a convent, and they travel together through enemy territory. Nearly surrounded by Germans, Lt. Hanley must call in artillery, placing them in great danger.
While fleeing from the Germans. Lt. Hanley and his squad stumble upon the old Sister Therese and three aspirant nun bringing a dead nun on a small wagon to be buried. Li. Hanley tries to convince the women to escape from the German with them for their safety, but the stubborn sister wants to go to their convent to bring the Infant of Prague's statue. Lt. Hanley finally convinces them to go with his squad but while sleeping in a barn, Sister Therese sneaks out to the convent to bring the statue in the village that is now taken by the Germans.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
