Burnside and Linda, a Social worker clash over a group of youths, that he thinks is involved in a burglary, turns out they're involved in something darker.
It's one of those episodes that they'd never get away with making pre watershed these days, and it is particularly bleak, I can't dress it up any other way, it's a horrible watch, not one I'd want to watch again, it's actually quite sickening.
Melanie Hill plays the part of the social worker well, and the scenes of Linda clashing with Burnside are good.
It's not difficult to spot a young Jane Danson who plays Debbie, she's another that would later go on to be a regular at Sun Hill.
I'm afraid I can't score it more highly than a six, it's well made and acted, but it's too macabre, 6/10.
