The police photographer asks Kent to wait "two seconds" for him to go get a full-palm fingerprint picture to add to a file in Kent's possession- but while he's gone, Kent changes into Superman, flies out the window to the next plot point in Germany. When we see him presently there, he, now as Kent again, has the file he left in Metropolis, including the photo he didn't wait to get from the Photographer. By WesternOne.

The map however was over 30 years out of date, showing Germany at its pre World War One borders. By the time of this episode, Germany had been pared down by treaties ending two different world wars. It was further divided into East-West zones when the episode was filmed.
