News
After 40 years in AC/DC, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young is “taking a break from the band due to ill health.” The legendary musician recently suffered a stroke. The band will carry on without him; they’re currently working on a new album.
Vanna will release their fifth full-length, Void, on June 17th via Pure Noise Records.
I attended the 16th annual New England Metal & Hardcore Festival this past weekend. Check out my photos of All That Remains, Bleeding Through, Darkest Hour and Scars of Tomorrow here.

Before Pamela and Tommy Lee’s steamy, oft-publicized relationship, he was engaged to another buxom blonde — Bobbie. Now the ‘Cherry Pie’ video vixen is finally opening up in a memoir, revealing the emotional roller coaster she was put on by her Motley Crue ex-fiance.
Bobbie Brown and Tommy Lee were the rock star couple of the mid-Nineties, until Pamela Anderson – a Bobbie doppelgänger — swooped in and stole the Motley Crue drummer away. The shocking details of the blonde bombshell love triangle have never truly been revealed — until now.
Bobbie Brown Tells All
Bobbie, who rose to fame after starring in Warrant‘s “Cherry Pie” music video in 1990, is finally spilling all the gory details about her life — the rock ‘n’ roll, the drugs, and yes, her relationship with Tommy Lee — in a memoir entitled Dirty Rocker Boys (out Nov. 26).

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
Released: 25th of March
Comedown Machine is different. It’s 80′s. And it may not be to everyone’s tastes.
Two songs were unveiled by the New Yorkers prior to the release of this record. The first of these two was “One Way trigger” and whether you loved it or hated it, this song is a very accurate advertisement for Comedown Machine – it’s quirky, weird and in no way sounds like it’s from this decade.
“All The Time” was the second. The “Is This It” throwback may have made a lot of Strokes fans excited but no one planning on listening to this record should get comfortable in the notion that there will more of this. “All The Time” is simply a mere break in a exploratory and different album. And only when you realize that can you truly begin to enjoy Comedown Machine for what it is.
