Washington (AP) — U2's classic album "The Joshua Tree," Linda Ronstadt's "Heart Like a Wheel" and an early, influential Christian rock album will play on forever, or at least as long as the Library of Congress is around. These albums from the 1970s and 1980s are among 25 recordings selected for long-term preservation in the library's National Recording Registry, chosen for their cultural, historical or aesthetic importance. Among the seminal sounds of the 20th century announced Wednesday are Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son" and the Everly Brothers' "Cathy's Clown." Librarian of Congress James Billington said the recordings represent part of America's culture and history. "As technology continually changes and formats become obsolete, we must ensure that our nation's aural legacy is protected," he said. U2's 1987 album with hits like "Where the Streets Have no Name" and "With or Without You" was chosen after the library received many public nominations.

Aaron Paul is used to sitting shotgun in star driven vehicles. Outside of Breaking Bad, Paul played supporting roles in 2009’s remake of Last House On The Left and 2012’s indie drama Smashed. However, he’s never had the opportunity to lead a project of his own. Need For Speed finally gives the actor the opportunity to take the reigns. Although he is certainly part of the problem, there are actually plenty of issues holding this film back. Speed isn’t the only thing this film needs.
After serving time for a false conviction of vehicular manslaughter involving a close friend, Aaron Paul’s character Tobey Marshall sets out on a race across country to prove his innocence and to bring the real culprit (Dominic Cooper) to justice. Cops and rival racers both have it out for our hero and his team of mechanics that are in tow to help him along the way.

Everywhere we go music follows us. We should never overlook music’s role in our lives, and even more so in film. Listen and you’ll learn and experience a great deal more. Sunday Soundtrack takes a look at movies that feature memorable sounds that could be heard on the original soundtrack release or in the film itself.
Mrs.Gump: “Forrest, I told you not to bother this nice young man.”
Elvis Presley: “No, that’s all right ma’am . I was just showing him a thing or two on the guitar here.”
Forrest: “Some years later, that handsome young man who they called “The King”, well he sung too many songs. He had himself a heart attack or something. Must be hard being the king.”

Grand Theft Auto is not just defined by the gameplay, but by the music that goes with it. A GTA game doesn’t deserve the title without a kick ass soundtrack to back you up, cruising down the interstate with hundreds of cops after you. Right? Right.
Listed below are some of my favourite songs of all time, and I think they’d fit pretty well into the downtown La, or San Andreas scene. Remember, San Andreas is based upon Los Angeles, a city famous for it’s rock and rebellious culture. Listen and enjoy.
10. Paul Oakenfold – La Woman (The Doors Remix)
Now, I could’ve put the original version, but I think this one is the right sort of tempo for the game and will do massive favours to your adrenaline rushes.
9. Creedance Clearwater Revival – Fortunate Son
Playing on the theme of the rich and the famous, this seems like a good song,...
