Storyline
Did you know
- GoofsThere is the sound of a helicopter in the beginning, even though the song is based on a movie, "Johnny Got His Gun," which is set during World War I (1914-1918), and the first practical transverse twin-rotor helicopter first flew on June 26, 1936.

Featured review
Definitely one of the most apt yet disturbing videos of it's time.
In a time of big hair and flashy stadium piece videos, Metallica's first entrance into music videos is a wild departure. A song about a man crippled during a war, the song's lyrics fit well with the footage from a movie dealing with the same issue. Also included is the shortened form of the video which was created under the band's protest.
