Nearly 20 years ago in New York City, a young, restless, teenaged Julia Fox would wait patiently for her neighbors to throw out their trash before sneaking down to the basement and scavenging the recycling bins for magazines she could use to make collages. She would skip over the copy and head straight to the photos — oftentimes of models and streetstyle fashion — and use scissors and glue to reimagine the most striking images into her own creation.
“I guess in a way I was making a vision board… but like, not really” Fox tells me, dragging her last syllable in a long, seductive rasp. We’re sitting across from each other in a suite at the Jw Marriott looking over Central Park, only a few long blocks from the Upper East Side neighborhood of Yorkville where she spent much of her childhood, often squatting in whichever vacant apartment her dad was working on as a contractor.

With a 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya-starrer has easily made a place for itself amongst the finest sci-fi films of all time. Clearly, the sequel is going to be a strong contender in the next award season.
Timothée Chalamet in Dune: Part Two
In fact, Dune: Part Two has managed to pull something off that not even the highest-grossing film of 2023 could – get the approval of columnist Ben Shapiro. Crazy, right? Well, Ben Shapiro recently came out with an eight-minute-long review of Timothée Chalamet’s Dune: Part Two, where he just couldn’t help himself from gushing over the film.

Dita Von Teese does not want to be involved in the latest Real Housewives drama. The model and burlesque star is making it clear that she has no association with the infamous Reality Von Tease Instagram account, which is dedicated to slamming former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member Jen Shah.
Dita Von Teese wants her followers to report the Reality Von Tease Instagram account
The Reality Von Teese account doesn’t have a ton of followers. But it’s a big deal in the Rhoslc world. The troll account not only mocked Shah, who is currently serving time in prison for fraud, but also cast a critical eye on other cast members from the Bravo reality show. Even the most fervent follower of RuPaul's Drag Race can admit that it's an exhausting time to be a fan. What began as a low-budget quasi-parody of America's Next Top Model has blossomed into a multimedia drag empire, winning multiple Emmys, and changing the face(-face-face) of drag in the mainstream. But with the flagship series, All Stars spin-offs, international versions, Global All Stars, Versus-the-World seasons — and that's just the competition shows — it has become a full-time gig to keep up with even a fraction of these shows.

Winnie Harlow is reclaiming her power this Halloween. On Oct. 31, the model dressed as Cruella de Vil from Disney's classic "101 Dalmatians" movie. From the dual-tone bouffant to her wickedly sharp eyeliner, Harlow nailed the villainous look. This year, however, the black-and-white ensemble was more than just a nostalgic pop culture costume. On Instagram, Harlow revealed her costume choice was inspired by her childhood bullies, who often teased her about her vitiligo, a skin condition that affects the melanin in certain areas of the skin.
"This Halloween is really dedicated to little Winnie."
"Growing up I got teased a lot for my skin," Harlow said. "I got called everything you already know.. and Dalmatian. That really got to me when I was little. So much so that I realized I had a bit of disdain for the film as a child." Though Harlow disliked...

Tom Bergeron is opening up about his dismissal from ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and the former host is not holding back.
The 68-year-old left the reality competition series in 2020 after being openly critical of the producers casting Donald Trump’s White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer in the show’s 28th season. Speaking with the Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans podcast, Bergeron detailed his perspective of the behind-the-scenes conversations that led to his ouster after hosting the hit show for 15 years.
Bergeron says that leading up to the fateful year, he had signed a new contract for three seasons. During a couple of lunches with various producers (whom he did not name), he urged them not to cast any political figures due to the pending presidential election and the increasingly divisive climate: “Make us the wonderful escape from all that divisiveness for two hours a week.” The producers seemingly enthusiastically agreed.

Ziwe Fumudoh is not performing at Bklyn Clay, but glimpses of the eponymous character she took from buzzy Instagram Lives to a late-night premium cable show emerge as soon as she arrives. She’s direct, clear that she wants to immediately start our lesson at this hip New York ceramic studio.
“Let’s get this party started,” she quietly urges twice.
Making pottery was Ziwe’s idea — she tells me she’s done it several times before — but I’ve never tried. We’re stationed across from one another, a table of supplies between us.

"Love Is Blind" fans have been bamboozled by the most unlikely culprit: Chris Fox. Despite initially seeming like the only decent guy on season five of the Netflix dating series, he wound up being a f*ckboy in disguise - as if we really needed another villain. The truth came out during the reunion special, which aired on Oct. 15, where some cast members gathered to share updates on their relationships after filming wrapped up last year. Although Chris and Johnie had reconciled and were happily dating the last time we saw them, their romance didn't continue off screen much longer because Chris ghosted Johnie . . . and started dating someone new. Yep, we didn't see it coming either.
As a quick refresher, Johnie broke things off with Chris in the pods to fully pursue Izzy, but Izzy proposed to Stacy instead. Second guessing her decision, Johnie tried to win Chris back, but he turned her down,...

Rita Ora is joining Fox's The Masked Singer.
Fox announced Wednesday that the British pop star will take over for Nicole Scherzinger on The Masked Singer Season 11, set to air in 2024.
The move doesn't affect The Masked Singer Season 10, which premiered Sunday on the network.
The switcheroo is due to Scherzinger's commitment to performing on London's West End in the fall.
Scherzinger, who has been with the show since its premiere in 2019, is expected to return for Season 12 if it gets a formal pickup by the network.
The Pussycat Doll is set to play Norma Desmond in the production of Sunset Boulevard.
With The Masked Singer filming two seasons a year, booking other projects that don't clash with the filming schedule must be tough.
Ora will appear alongside returning panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke, as well as Nick Cannon, who returns as host.

When it comes to casting “Top Chef,” talent is the most important element a contestant must possess in order to compete. “Everything else comes second,” said Ron Mare, the Emmy-nominated Senior Vice President of Casting at Magical Elves, which produces Bravo’s long-running culinary competition. But it’s no longer necessarily a skill with knives that the casting team is looking for.
“You have to have that talent level in order to go on a show like this,” he continues, explaining that casting “Top Chef” is far different from the many reality series he’s handled in the past, like, “America’s Next Top Model” and “Project Runway.” As the series has evolved, so have the people cast on the show. While talent remains paramount, there’s more of an emphasis on compelling food stories, with host Padma Lakshmi telling “Entertainment Tonight” that “Top Chef” “shows audiences a very particular side of these chefs.

Hollywood’s actors and writers are on strike. Could reality TV stars be next? Rhony alum Bethenny Frankel thinks it’s time for reality stars to unionize and fight back against what she says is exploitation by the networks and streaming services, which are making millions off the work of stars like herself.

For queer pop culture fanatics, Netflix’s “Glamorous” is the gift that keeps on giving.

Kenya Barris, the creator-writer-producer behind titles like “Black-ish,” “Grown-ish” and “America’s Next Top Model,” has proven himself to be one of television’s most reliable hitmakers. More importantly, he knows how to get people talking.
On Jan. 23, Barris made his directorial debut with “You People.” The comedy instantly soared to the top of the Netflix charts, racking up more than 65.61 million viewing hours to date. That number is proportionate to the avalanche of heated posts, op-eds and reviews that flooded the internet as soon as the trailer dropped.
A modern take on the forbidden lovers’ tale, with a heavy amount of “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner,” “You People” finds an interracial couple at the crosshairs of the culture wars. Ezra is white and Jewish; Amira (Lauren London) is Black and Muslim. These differences prove disastrous when it comes to their families. Riddled with white guilt, Ezra’s mother Shelley (Julia Louis-Dreyfus...

America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry responded to a photo of actor Melanie Lynskey on Twitter, criticizing her appearance as unfitting for the post-apocalyptic TV series, The Last of Us.
In a deleted tweet, she wrote, “her body says life of luxury… not post apocolyptic [sic] warlord.” She later added, “where is [Terminator star] Linda Hamilton when you need her?”
Lynskey fired back, screenshotting the message before Curry deleted her tweet. She pointed out that the gown she wore was for an InStyle magazine cover shoot, something that looks completely different from her character on the show.
Firstly- this is a photo from my cover shoot for InStyle magazine, not a still from HBO’s The Last Of Us. And I’m playing a person who meticulously planned & executed an overthrow of Fedra. I am supposed to be Smart, ma’am. I don’t need to be muscly. That’s what henchmen are for pic.

Don’t come for Melanie Lynskey on Twitter, because she will make you look foolish.
The actress, an Emmy nominee last year for “Yellowjackets,” eloquently responded to criticism of her physical appearance in a series of tweets that fought rudeness with reason.
On “The Last of Us,” HBO’s hit postapocalyptic drama, Lynskey plays Kathleen, the hardened leader of a resistance group that freed Kansas City from military rule. But according to former “America’s Next Top Model” winner and prolific social media presence Adrianne Curry, Lynskey isn’t physically fit enough to be believable in the role.
“Her body says life of luxury… not post apocolyptic [sic] warlord,” Curry wrote in a since-deleted tweet alongside a photo of Lynskey from a recent InStyle cover story. “Where is Linda Hamilton when you need her?” (Hamilton played svelte resistance fighter Sarah Connor in the “Terminator” movies.)
Lynskey responded with a cheeky tweet putting Curry in her place.

Yellowjackets star Melanie Lynskey has hit back at comments made by model Adrianne Curry about her body shape in HBO‘s The Last of Us. Curry, a former America’s Next Top Model contestant, made the remarks in a now-deleted tweet, where she said that Lynskey didn’t make a good fit for the role of Kathleen, the ruthless leader of a revolutionary movement in Kansas City, Missouri. “Her body says life of luxury…not post apocolyptic [sic] warlord. Where is [The Terminator actress] linda hamilton when you need her?” Curry tweeted alongside a photo of Lynskey. Lynskey, however, did not let the comment slide by. Taking to her own Twitter account, the Emmy-nominated actress wrote, “Firstly- this is a photo from my cover shoot for InStyle magazine, not a still from HBO’s ‘The Last Of Us.’ And I’m playing a person who meticulously planned & executed an overthrow of Fedra.
