According to series creator Greg Miller, the original voice of Robot Jones was created with Microsoft Word 98 text-to-voice software. The character's voice was changed to a human, Bobby Block, in the second season. Block's voice was dubbed over the original voice in subsequent season one re-broadcasts.
Greg Miller submitted his pilot for the series to Cartoon Network in 2000, which aired as part of the channel's "Voice Your Choice Weekend" marathon. It ultimately ranked second in popularity to The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (2003).
This used to be made with a robot voice but that was changed to a child voice but the robot voice episodes remain lost so that makes some of this lost media
