Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A male Stegosaurus courts and eventually mates with a female. Camera pans up as they do so nothing is shown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many deaths and injuries, but the most brutal is in the fourth segment; a Zuniceratops fights another and gets a puncture wound on its head. Immediately afterwards a raptor jumps on its back and begins clawing at its side. The animal slowly dies over the next few hours and the raptors finish it off and feed on its carcass. Some viewers may find this intense.
  • The ending is somewhat emotional; the asteroid hits and many dinosaurs are killed offscreen either by heat, shockwaves, or nuclear winter. When the sun reappears smashed and dead trees and burnt dinosaur carcasses are shown. A bird, turtle, and small mammals are shown emerging from the aftermath. The music and narration make it seem sad.
