The show sees Dickinson, 81, guide members of the public as they attempt to sell their collectable items for the highest price.
While a source claimed that Dickinson’s impending departure from the show was ‘an open secret”, the host’s spokesperson stepped in to point out the rumours were false.
“David has no plans to retire from Dickinson’s Real Deal, a show he still very much enjoys making, and is hugely looking forward working on the upcoming series later this month,” his spokesperson told Metro.co.uk.
The Independent has contacted Dickinson for further comment.

News that doctors were “concerned” about Queen Elizabeth II’s health on Thursday lunchtime threw long-planned U.K. broadcast schedules into disarray almost immediately – and the disruptions will likely continue for weeks.
The statement from Buckingham Palace, issued at 12.30pm local time, was unprecedented and experienced broadcasters immediately realized the situation was serious. U.K. Parliament had been informed about 10 minutes earlier, with Prime Minister Liz Truss and leader of the opposition Keir Starmer discreetly passed notes detailing the situation in the House of Commons.
BBC One was the first network to break programming some 10 minutes after the statement was published. An episode of “Bargain Hunt” – a long-running series which sees two teams competing to cheaply source antiques and flip them for a profit – was interrupted by BBC newsreader Joanna Gosling, who said: “Welcome to viewers on BBC One. We have had news from Buckingham Palace that the Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral.

Update 2.05pm BST/6.05am Pst: The BBC has now suspended flagship network BBC One’s schedule until 6pm local time as coverage of the Queen’s medical condition continues.
BBC Two is now playing BBC One’s planned schedule and the other main UK terrestrial channels — ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 — have all run special reports on the Queen’s condition.
The Royal Family, including the U.S.-based Duke of Sussex Prince Harry, who has been in the UK, are traveling to her home in Scotland. The Duchess of Sussex Meghan and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate have not travelled north, it is being reported. Earlier reports suggested Meghan was accompanying her husband.
BBC news journalists and broadcasters have all changed into black clothing, which is believed to be part of Operation London Bridge, a series of protocols that dictate how the UK will respond when the Queen passes.

British indies will soon have the opportunity to compete in a tender process to produce three of the BBC’s biggest shows: Antiques Roadshow, Songs of Praise and Young Musician of the Year.
Antiques Roadshow and Young Musician of the Year are being tendered for the first time while Songs of Praise was issued in 2016, with BBC Studios losing out to independent producers Avanti and Nine Lives Media.
After five years, those producers have brought their partnership to an end, according to the BBC, which will now have the opportunity to win the show back.
The tendering process began several years ago when the BBC’s in-house producer BBC Studios was commercialized. The process is a trade-off for the outfit being allowed to produce shows for third parties for the first time.
All BBC Studios-produced shows have to be put to tender by 2027, although none have been tendered since 2019.

Last issue wasn’t a very good issue of Doctor Who. That’s not to say it wasn’t a good issue of course, because it wasn’t bad at all, but what it was was an issue of Jack Harkness, Time Agent. That’s ok of course, as who doesn’t like a man of action / innuendo spouting Time Agent, certainly not me. Jack of course has recently had his memories restored, after having some erased, and has become aware of some not so good things he did for the Time Agency in the past. One thing especially has bothered him, his assassination of Zloy Volt, a man he was told would develop weapons of mass destruction in the future. Then Jack discovered he was lied to.

It is an immutable law of the universe that everything everywhere will at some point be bought on Bargain Hunt. That important looking bit you keep in that tin of random things in case you find out what it’s for? In 2064 some antiques expert who hasn’t even been born yet will explain casually that it was used as a stand for rich Moldovan aristocrats' spare eyeballs, or a small portable gardening tool for calibrating parasols. It doesn’t matter if it was actually the plastic thing that keeps your router standing on end.

From BBC Video to Thx, Jenny offers her personal countdown of her favourite idents...
I've never really understood how TV works. All I know is that someone does something a bit entertaining somewhere, and then people use magic to somehow make it come on your TV. Aliens might be involved.
Thanks to idents, though, I'm reminded that production companies and channels are responsible for making TV and film happen, rather than magic and aliens. These little snippets of credit are sadly overlooked by a lot of people, yet they make fascinating viewing, if you're me.
Here, in no particular order, are 20 of my favourite TV and film idents. Some are creepy, some are nostalgic, and some are hilarious, but they're all memorable in their own way.
1. Channel 4
Apart from the Intel Inside jingle, I can't think of another four notes that have become so deeply ingrained in the collective consciousness.

ITV and the BBC aren't the best of friends, but the former has unleashed a scathing review of its rival's programming in a letter to the House of Commons.
The commercial broadcaster said that the BBC should be banned from buying overseas formats like The Voice, which has already been criticised by the government for costing too much.
In its written submission to the House of Commons culture, media and sport select committee's review of the BBC charter, ITV said the BBC had a lack of ambition, casting aside its positive services such as BBC Three and spending too much on "highly popular and often derivative and indistinct" programmes.
"The BBC should not be permitted to acquire content that is already made (or a format that already exists in another territory) where another commercial rival is prepared to purchase that content or format," ITV said.

Tim Wonnacott and his professional partner Natalie Lowe are the third couple to leave Strictly Come Dancing.
The Bargain Hunt expert and Lowe found themselves in the dance-off alongside Mark Wright and Karen Hauer.
The bottom two acts were decided through a combination of viewer votes and judges' scores.
Wonnacott and Lowe performed their paso doble to Tina Turner's 'Simply the Best', while Wright and Hauer danced a quickstep to 'Tiger Feet' by Mud.
Wright's quickstep originally earned him a score of 29 during yesterday's (October 18) show, while Wonnacott's performance got him a 19.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell both took the decision to save Wright and Hauer, with Bruno Tonioli sealing their fate.

Tim Wonnacott has said that Strictly Come Dancing viewers should not dismiss older contestants as serious contenders.

"Stick with the oldies, that's my motto."
His partner Natalie Lowe praised him for his determination to succeed: "I've been most...
