Ralph Carney has left this mortal coil far too soon. He was one of us, a musician from Akron who made it out and had become a much-beloved multi-instrumentalist where ever he hung his hat. (The last two years in Portland, Or.) Carney was also the uncle of Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney. He added his brilliance to acts like Tom Waits, The B-52s, Elvis Costello, Kronos Quartet, Jonathan Richman, St. Vincent... basically any band worth their salt that needed some brilliant reed component, whether clarinet or saxophone or some other homemade instrument!

A brand new track titled "Big Time", where Bow Wow joins forces with Nelly and Ron Browz, has come out. It will reportedly appear in Bow Wow's upcoming sixth solo studio album "New Jack City Part 2".
Becoming his first album to receive Parental Advisory label, "New Jack City Part 2" is slated for U.S. release on March 31. Jermaine Dupri, T-Pain, T.I. and Trey Songz are also recruited as featured guests in the record in addition to Nelly and Ron Browz.
Bow Wow is currently in the midst of a promotional tour for the new effort. Listing more than 25 major cities in U.S. in his tour's calendar, he will make a final stop in Atlanta for the Boys and Girls Club of America National Keystone Conference on April 2 where he will perform in front of more than 1,500 club members from across the country.
