Rubbery
BandSAboutMovies7 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Directed, written, produced, starring and edited by Mark Polonia, this movie makes Carnosaur look like a 5D CGI spectacle by comparison, but come on. It was shot by a teenager in Pennsylvania and has the energy that that statement embodies.

I mean, what's your tolerance for stop motion dinosaurs on green screen, Amiga graphics and amateur green screen endeavors? You're either the kind of person that looks at this and thinks it's complete junk or you get obsessed and can't turn away. There's really no in-between.

Explosions wake up two dinosaurs, who proceed to destroy most of Mark's hometown, Wellsboro, PA. It looks like this movie is all him and not as much of his brother John, who does show up as an extra. And Mark cares about you, his audience, so much that he even has his future wife do a shower scene.

But yeah. Rubbery dinosaurs.

The perfect movie for any bad-movie night!!!!!!
mizziah7423 November 2001
Well, first I'd like to say that this has got to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. IT'S BAD! This movie redefines the word BAD! I'm not saying this to be mean! I'm sure the Polonia Brothers are nice people! Too bad this movie sucks ass!

I'm sure the filmmakers were very passionate about their work. I just wish they would have kept this one to themselves, instead of unleashing it on the public!

The script is ridiculous, the acting is even worse (the dubbing doesn't help any), but the so-called "special effects" have got to be the worst I've EVER SEEN! Check out the dinosaur "eye" and you'll know what I'm talking about.

I've actually seen some of the Polonia Brothers more recent work, and technically, they are improving! They still can't tell an effective story to save their lives, but they are getting better! I have hope for these guys!

As for SAURIANS, I'm sorry, but this has got to be worse, most unintentionally funny movies I've ever seen. Get a group of your friends together, add a lot of alcohol, stir SAURIANS into the mix, and you got yourself a surefire recipe for a great "bad movie" night!!! Enjoy!!!!

Worst animation yet
Leofwine_draca12 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I've no idea why SAURIANS has such a strong rating on here because it's very bad indeed. A prehistoric indie adventure, it follows the story of construction workers who accidentally unleash a couple of prehistoric beasties on the present. Sadly, this isn't even so bad it's good; it's plain bad. The dinosaurs are brought to life featuring the worst non-animation ever (worse than the plasticine beasties in the old silent flicks) and the whole thing is just an embarrassment.

Dinosaurs? Horray !!!

Grab some popcorn, send the kids to bed, and get ready for the movie event of a lifetime. Saurians is the award winning film sure to leave you breathless. Based on real life events, this movie will not only entertain but will also increase your knowledge of rock gas and dinosaur fossils. The special effects are amazing. The fast paced action sequences and state-of-the-art dinosaur vision, are a sight to behold. A caution however, as some scenes are quite frightening and are not for the weak-hearted. Beautifully directed by Allen, this film is sure to be a hit with anyone who ever wanted to hunt dinosaurs or believes that dinosaurs are not dead but are just trapped in a cave waiting to be blasted out. I give this movie a big thumbs up and can't wait for the rumored sequels.

Not bad special effects, but could have been done better

I was recommended by a good movie critic to watch Saurians. My first impression was WOW...decent story, pretty good special effects, but a wonderful cast and character development. Upon watching the movie for the fourth and fifth times, I was aching for some director commentary or extra features. I'll have to wait for the DVD i guess. Anyways, I would highly recommend this blockbuster to anyone thats interested in the genre of dinosaurs coming to life and killing people.

Coffee is good, but gives me the wet poops.
