Singer-songwriter Maggie Lindemann didn’t appear to be the typical girl next door in a newly shared picture.
Posing for Instagram, she rocked a revealing little black mini-dress that left little to the imagination.
She is known for her gothic looks, and this latest outfit was no exception.
The black leather dress featured cutout details on the front of the dress and a plunging neckline creating a daring look for the singer.
A silver stud trim added some eye-catching detail to the jaw-dropping dress, which Maggie paired with a pair of shiny patent knee-high boots.
To finish off the look, she wore a spiked choker with a cross necklace and a spiked cuff around her wrist to match. Her tattoos complimented the outfit, and she completed it with some heavy black liner around her eyes.

Elisha Cuthbert is opening up about the pressures she experienced as a young actress in the early 2000s.
The “Cellar” star, 39, recently appeared on Rachel Bilson’s “Broad Ideas” podcast and shared that she felt she didn’t have an option when it came to posing for sexually-suggestive photoshoots in men’s magazine such as Maxim and FHM if she wanted to promote her career as an actress in her 20s.
“There was really no option back then,” Cuthbert said. “That’s what the [film] studio wanted you to do.”

The latest in our series of writers sticking up for hated films is a call to reconsider Paris Hilton’s surprisingly effective performance in the horror remake
The stars of 2005’s House of Wax remake were all having their moments in Hollywood when they joined the reimagined slasher version of Vincent Price’s 1953 classic. Elisha Cuthbert had just broken out in 2004’s Girl Next Door while Chad Michael Murray was coming off both Freaky Friday and A Cinderella Story. Jared Padalecki starred opposite the Olsen Twins in A New York Minute in 2004 and Robert Ri’chard held his own opposite Samuel L Jackson in the early 2005 drama Coach Carter. And then there was Paris Hilton.

An emotional rollercoaster from minute one, director Luke Greenfield’s Half Brothers ultimately taps into something earnest. Renato (Luis Gerardo Méndez) is a salty engineer living in Mexico City, days away from marrying Pamela (Pia Watson), when he gets a phone call from the States. His estranged father Flavio (Juan Pablo Espinosa) is dying and has asked to speak with his son. Reticent to acknowledge a man who abandoned him and his mother so many years before, Renato is pushed by Pamela, who is convinced her fiancee needs closure in order to become a good father to their son, a young boy struggling with his own eccentricities.
Moments after arriving in Chicago, Renato learns that he’s got a half-brother named Asher (Connor Del Rio), with whom he could not be more different. Upon Flavio’s death, the brothers are called into a mystery of their father’s creation. A strained-but-ultimately cathartic road trip ensues,...

Kino-Lorber has released a Blu-Ray edition of the 1959 musical comedy, Never Steal Anything Small starring James Cagney, Shirley Jones, Roger Smith and Cara Williams. If it doesn’t sound all that familiar it’s because this movie is a very odd duck. A musical without songs and dances, and a Damon Runyon type plot with characters that get a little nasty at times.
James Cagney, in his final musical performance, plays Jake MacIllaney, a crooked dockworker and steward for the local stevedore’s union in New York City. He cheats, he schemes and he occasionally embezzles funds, but he is somehow still a lovable chap who is well liked by the rank and file. He dreams of becoming the union president and hires a straight-laced lawyer, Dan Cabot (Roger Smith), to help him keep one step ahead of the law.

Who says you can't have a beach day in the fall? On Friday, Nov. 6, Leonardo DiCaprio, 45, was spotted at the beach in Malibu, Calif. alongside friend and The Girl Next Door star Emile Hirsch, 35. Both wearing swim trunks—Leonardo in a set of patterned gray and Emile in baby blue—the duo even hit the surely chilly waters. It seemed like a bros day out as the friends were joined by others, including the Titanic star's dad, George DiCaprio. Noticeably though, the day was missing Leo's longtime girlfriend Camila Morrone, 23. The couple made their first public appearance in Aspen, Colo. in Jan. 2018 and were in full-on Pda mode at Coachella a few months later, where...

All streaming services go through a down period after the excitement of Spooky Season, it’s only natural. Thankfully with its list of new releases for November 2020, Hulu is making the best out of a barren pop culture landscape.
For starters, Hulu is premiering one of its major 2020 reboots this month as Animaniacs arrives on Nov. 20. Yakko, Wakko, Dot, and the rest of the Warner gang are set to return for this long-awaited revival of the animated classic. That’s about it as far as original series go but Hulu is also premiering original movies Greta, about climate activist Greta Thunberg on Nov. 13; and Run, a horror film starring Sarah Paulson, on Nov. 20.
Still, despite all the Animaniacs, Gretas, and Sarah Paulsons, the biggest hits this month might just be on the library content side of things. November 1 sees the arrival of some major TV properties. For starters, racy British...

In 2004, Easter fell on the second weekend of April. It featured Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” as the #1 film, ousting Guillermo del Toro’s “Hellboy.” That was no accident as part of a brilliantly executed release that achieved results far beyond anything Gibson anticipated.

Daniel Farrands’ unfathomably bad “The Haunting of Sharon Tate” poses a number of provocative questions. The first is asked by Edgar Allen Poe in a stanza of on-screen text: “Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream?” Hmm. The next comes from the film’s casting director, whose name has been omitted from this review in order to protect the under-the-line talent: “What would it look like if the most culturally seismic killings of 1969 were amateurishly dramatized by Lizzie McGuire, Citizen Kane’s great-granddaughter, Lindsay Lohan’s love interest from ‘Mean Girls,’ and a smattering of attractive young actors who look more like ‘Vanderpump Rules’ characters than they do the members of a racist death cult?” And then — spoiler alert! — there’s the question that ties the whole room together: “What if the Manson Family murders were given the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ treatment and re-imagined as...

Years from now when we look back at the type of entertainment that was made during the inflammatory presidential era of Donald Trump, Netflix’s John Waters-like zombie comedy Santa Clarita Diet is bound to be a benchmark.
Created by Victor Fresco, who has worked as an Ep on such classic broadcast sitcoms as Mad About You and Evening Shade, Santa Clarita Diet stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant as married realtors Sheila and Joel Hammond. However, she’s got a big problem, and it’s not that she missed her sales quota, rather she’s contracted a zombie virus and is currently devouring all the nasty people around her.
Meanwhile, her understanding husband is along for the ride, trying to quell Sheila. But he’s also a victim of circumstance since he’s an accomplice to her murders. As the couple vie to bring their lives to a degree of normalcy,...

We needed to get this out of our system because frankly Emile Hirsch was/is one of the most talented actors for what appeared to be a very long time. Emile, So much has happened in your career at this point, so many ups and downs that have seen you rise to stardom and then come crashing down. Your career hit a couple of extreme high notes when you first took on the movie The Girl Next Door, The Lords of Dogtown, and even Into the Wild. You had everything you needed, you were primed to ascend into a career that

A little while back we had the enigmatic bad-ass female lead Tracey Birdsall on the podcast to chat about her career, her connection to Disney and upcoming projects like The Time War (a Neil Johnson movie we are very much looking forward to seeing). I personally loved chatting to Tracey, you could tell she was excited about the craft and poured herself into each role she landed. So of course I am going to check out more of her projects especially one that boasts comedy, drama and porn… Sounds like all the key ingredients for a rom-com for guys.

It’s 1987, it’s Perth in Western Australia, and seventeen year old Vicki Maloney is randomly abducted from a suburban street by John and Evelyn, a disturbed serial-killing couple. As she observes the dynamic between her captors she quickly realises she must drive a wedge between them if she is to survive…
Apparently “inspired” by real life crimes, Hounds of Love is a stunning debut feature from director Ben Young, if a little ‘tame’ for its gruesome subject matter. Yes, I did say tame. Young opens his film with a slow-mo look at schoolgirls playing volleyball during a bright Summer’s day. Which seems innocent enough, until you realise we’re looking at the girls thorugh the gaze of our perverted kidnappers – however the power and the unease that opening scene has,...

When it came to writing about the horrors of real life and the human monsters that walk among us, there was perhaps no one better than author Jack Ketchum, aka Dallas Mayr, and we're sad to share the news that Dallas has passed away at the age of 71.
Jack Ketchum's official website confirmed the news of Dallas' passing, and fellow author and close friend Christopher Golden also shared the news on Twitter, mentioning that Dallas had been fighting cancer for a long time.
When it came to writing visceral prose that pulled no punches, Dallas was a master. Whether writing about cannibals in Off Season, an old man seeking revenge for his dog in Red, or a pregnant woman trying to survive demented kidnappers in Right to Life, Dallas dug deep into tormented psyches and harrowing situations, shining an unforgiving light on both the humanity and depravity of all-too-real horrors...

Sexy movie star Elisha Cuthbert has laughed off reports she's being courted to pose nude in Playboy, insisting she is too modest to bare all. The actress states she'll only strip on camera if it's absolutely necessary, admitting she currently calls for a body double whenever nudity is needed. Cuthbert, who played a reluctant porn star in The Girl Next Door, urges men's magazine editors to hold on to their cash - because she'll never strip for them. The Canadian says, "I wouldn't cancel out a nude scene but, right now, with my life and my career, I don't feel the need to do that. I don't feel it's necessary. I've been doing fine finding roles that don't need to have full-frontal nudity in them. There have been points where we've had to use body doubles, and, obviously, as I get older, the roles get more mature. I never shy away from saying, 'OK guys, we can do this; let's just use a double.' I feel I give a lot to the public and there's a few things in my life right now that I'd like to keep to myself - my breasts being one of them."...

The Girl Next Door beauty Elisha Cuthbert is celebrating after becoming engaged to her boyfriend Trace Ayala, a personal assistant to pop star Justin Timberlake. The 21-year-old actress - who rocketed to fame playing Kim Bauer in hit TV series 24 - accepted Ayala's romantic proposal last week, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper. In April Cuthbert angrily denied reports she was romancing Timberlake after she was spotted sneaking into the "Cry Me A River" star's Dublin, Ireland hotel - an event which forced her to inform the world she was actually paying her beau of one year a visit. She said, "Those rumors about Justin and I put me in an awkward position, as I was actually seeing his best mate Trace Ayala and have been for the past year. I'd been friends with Justin and met Trace afterwards, we got on brilliantly although we don't get to spend as much time together as we'd like." It's not yet known when the happy couple will wed.

Camilla Belle is in negotiations to star opposite Daniel Day-Lewis in the title role of IFC Films' Rose and the Snake for writer-director Rebecca Miller. Up-and-coming actor Paul Dano (The Emperor's Club) also will star in the film, with Beau Bridges making an appearance in a small but pivotal role. Production begins in the summer with Catherine Keener also starring (HR 3/7). The project sees Day-Lewis star as a dying, widowed father of a 16-year-old girl named Rose (Belle). They live on an abandoned commune, where Rose has been sheltered from the world. When the father's new love, a single mom named Kathleen (Keener), and her two teenage boys, come to live with them, Rose undergoes a sexual awakening with both liberating and devastating consequences. Dano plays the sexually charged Thadius, the elder of the two boys, who immediately sets his sights on Rose. Bridges plays Marty Rance, a real estate developer interested in buying the commune from the father. Belle, repped by CAA, has starred in such films as The Lost World: Jurassic Park, The Patriot, Practical Magic and Invisible Circus. Dano, repped by the Gersh Agency and Industry Entertainment's Sandra Chan, won an Independent Spirit Award last year for his performance in the indie feature L.I.E. He just completed shooting New Regency's The Girl Next Door and will next play the lead in the indie film Light and the Sufferer for writer-director Chris Peditto. Bridges is also repped by CAA.
