This is a very nice German CGI film. I liked it because it was very good quality for 2000 and the main character, a fly, is adorable and likable because the artist had a wonderfully comic imagination. You really have to see the fly to understand what I mean. He flies about and ultimately lands on a book and is confused by the flat drawing of an elephant on the page. Soon, he discovers what life in one-dimension is all about...
Unfortunately, while the film looks great, the story itself is way too short--so short that when it was finished I found myself disappointed and wanting more. This isn't a bad sign, but I really wanted to see further adventures of this great leading man.
