Dancing With the Stars brought tears to everyone's eyes with their always-emotional "Most Memorable Year" week on Monday -- but even after a heartstring-tugging slate of dances, one couple still got the axe.
It all came down to the two stars who found themselves in jeopardy: Nick Lachey and Derek Fisher, both of whom delivered some of their strongest performances of the season this week.
Ultimately, it was the Los Angeles Lakers icon and his pro partner, Sharna Burgess, who were sent packing.

Speaking with hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews after the elimination, Fisher reflected on what he's gained from the experience of being on the show.

I wish I could say that the sight of hundreds of eager Conan O’Brien fans waiting to get into the Beacon Theater while dressed as pop culture references (Waldo, I found you!), their beloved Coco, and The Flaming C! would be different on any night other than October 31st. But as any member of Team Coco could attest, that simply wouldn’t be the case. Halloween or not, the Conan elite were slapping on their finest (and sometimes intentionally downright terrible) orange wigs and welcoming home their departed hero, in a line that wrapped around three Manhattan blocks.

Even though his fifth album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is just weeks away from landing on shelves, Kanye West is still cranking out gratis G.O.O.D. Music joints. Although cutting-edge spitters Kid Cudi and Jay-z appear on the track, the Chicago Mc's newest offering, "The Joy," is a nod to the past, featuring nude '70s vixen Pam Grier on the MP3 art, buttery production courtesy of beat kingpin Pete Rock, vocals from Charlie Wilson and a contribution from soul icon Curtis Mayfield.
"Joy" is centered around Mayfield's vocals from "The Makings of You," a cut from his 1970 debut Curtis. (Yeezy has turned to Mayfield's catalogue in the past, sampling "Move On Up" for West's Late Registration single "Touch The Sky.

Recorded with Bono and John Legend, the song is taken from her critically-acclaimed album Oyo, an album of music that inspired the artist as a youth in Benin. Despite lacking big moments from most of our favorite characters, last night's "Sabre" really came together, didn't it, Officers? It was another Michael-heavy episode, with a metric ton of Erin/Andy tension on the side; it was light on the rest of the players, but somehow managed guest spots from both Christian Slater (as himself) and Kathy Bates (as Dunder-Mifflin's new owner). Dunder-Miffin was bought by an electronics company, Sabre, which everyone pronounced "sah-bray." The merger meant new management, specifically Gabe, a young lanky guy whom Dwight greeted with a tray of hotdogs, like you do. Erin and Andy had...
