Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer have said that they are very proud of their Saturday night series Families At War. The double act claimed that the show, which had two runs on BBC One primetime in 1998 and 1999, was a lot more adventurous than anything else in the Saturday night schedules. "Families At War was a stupendous show... I don't think you'll ever see a show like that on a Saturday night again," Reeves told Digital Spy. "I'm still amazed that it went out on BBC One. But I'll tell you what, it was good fun and very watchable TV. "Most of the stuff you find on a Saturday night now is like something you would see through the window of a scout hut."
