The all-time top selling adult gay video of all time

What's more amazing than the fact that this is the all-time bestselling adult gay video of all time is that it's actually a superb production. This 1987 William Higgins classic is a showcase for Mike Henson (who's in virtually every segment), but also offers star turns by Kevin Williams (his scene with Henson offering a free massage is a steamy classic, with John Davenport watching the action on a concealed video feed) and Jeff Quinn really shines (working hard to make a wooden John Rocklin look passionate). The playful threesome of Henson, Mike Ryan and Jeff Boote are spontaneous, erotic and thorough. The savage Chad Douglas is his usual aggressive self with Kevin Wiles in one of his best captured scenes. The film's sequel, HOT RODS: THE YOUNG AND THE HUNG PART 2 (confusingly titled because its not a sequel to Higgins's THE YOUNG AND THE HUNG) picks up with the last scene of this film, with a paint ball outing that leads to fun. William Higgins really is the master of well-produced, professionally shot and tightly-edited erotica. If there's only one adult gay video to buy, this would be it.

While most gay porn tapes merit getting chucked into the garbage before even a single viewing, "Big Guns" is that rare gem that you'll want to watch over and over again (trust me on this one).

A Porn Classic!

One of the best gay adult videos ever made. William Higgins brings together John Davenport, Mike Henson, Kevin Williams and other studs to create a fantastic, eye opening film. The sex is hot with great combinations of coupling. The production is first rate. It was produced by Catalina Video, which has a reputation for outstanding videos during this era. The plot centers around two military boys (Davenport and Henson) and their exploits. They travel to the desert and find fun the easy way. Be prepared for campiness and the usual bad dialouge from a porn film. Check it out. This was made in the early 1980's so condom are not used.

Better than "Top Gun"

Gay porn film about guys at some academy...or something. Let's face it though--who cares what the plot is? All that matters is that the guys are hot and the sex erotic and they certainly are in this one! Also, for a porn film, it has high production values and is very well shot and directed. Also this was shot before we knew about AIDS so condoms are not used.

William Higgins made quite a few gay porn films in the 1980s and this is easily one of the best. All the guys are attractive but Jeff Boote is incredible! Tall, handsome and muscular. He's worth getting the DVD (if it's on DVD) alone! A gay porn classic. A 10 all the way.
