“I’m so sweaty. I’m gonna roll these Spanx off,” Kelly Clarkson exclaims in front of a live audience at Lincoln Center, having just belted out Mary J. Blige’s “Just Fine” — a song she learned only hours before. The crowd cheers her on and laughs as she announces, mid-performance, “I have to pee, so I’m gonna have an extra pep in my step.”

While both ‘Skin’ and ‘Substance’ failed to crack the Billboard Hot 100, the songs made waves on the Hot Rock and Alternative Songs Chart where they peaked at No. 13 and No. 37, respectively.
Released as a promotional single just two days before the album’s release, ’29’ quickly resonated with fans across the world with its careful articulation of grooming in relationships.

In last weeks episode of Ru Paul’s Drag Race All-Stars, we said goodbye to Eureka after the queens had to design and create a new animated character to add to the drag tots. I enjoyed that the idea of school and toddler was embedded into most of the sections of the episode and I did think the idea of having to stand on the runway while a voiceover explains your story was a little awkward/uncomfortable. It was that lip-sync between Ra’jah and Kameron Michaels that people are still talking about though… There has been a lot of people online who were very disappointed with the lip-sync song and it is clear that Kameron was not proud of her performance either. Regardless, Kameron won and sent home Eureka (who were famously very close friends on their original season) but we couldn’t get rid of Eureka for very...

Young Stephanie (Zelda Espenschied) is utterly alone. It doesn’t matter that she lives with her parents (Freya Kreutzkam’s Mom and Bernd Wolf’s Reinhardt) because their physical presence pales in comparison to their emotional absence. And nothing will ever change. It can’t. Stephanie’s mother is too far lost in the past to think about the girl’s childhood when memories of her parents keep her forever longing for the childhood she herself wasn’t afforded. Stephanie’s father is conversely too busy living in the present to worry about anyone else as more than obstacles with which to combat on a personal road towards contentment. They both know it’s not a perfect home to raise a child in, but it’s all they can muster. They embrace stagnancy in lieu of happiness.
That doesn’t mean Stephanie wants out, though. Writer/director Sabrina Mertens understands...

With over two decades of work under her belt, Wanda Sykes has found that being a multi-hyphenate artist certainly allows for a diverse and successful career. Starting off as an award-winning writer for The Chris Rock Show, she quickly found popularity with her stand-up specials, leading to roles in Monster-in-Law and The New Adventures of Old Christine. 2020 has given Sykes four Emmy nominations this year—two under her production company Push It, one for the role of Gladys in Crank Yankers, and one for her performance as legendary vaudeville entertainer Moms Mabley in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Sykes describes this surreal pandemic year thus: “2020, for me, the glass is half-full. But it’s a dirty glass. It’s like from a crime scene with lipstick and fingerprints and smudges all on it.”

Jenna Dewan and Kelly Clarkson have been in the entertainment industry for a long time, and we have the parking lot performance picture to prove it! On Thursday, Jenna shared a throwback photo of her dancing backup for Kelly outside a Walmart as a crowd looks on. And if the lack of smart phones isn't a dead giveaway that this was taken somewhere in the early- to mid-2000s, the performers' dark tees and flared jeans are pretty telling time stamps.
"#Tbt to dancing with @kellyclarkson at a Walmart parking lot in Texas," Jenna, 38, captioned the post. "I will never forget quick changing in the break room amongst all the employees, and running through the aisles to make it back on stage in time." She then gushed about getting to work with the 37-year-old singer, adding, "To this day, Kelly is one of The nicest and best i have met in this business.

Happy Thursday, Grey's Anatomy fans. Finally, some more news has broke regarding the current season 15 of your favorite show which is currently on a long, winter break hiatus. It turns out that they are going to bring an older, more mature lady into the mix at some point after the winter break is over. According to the folks over at TV Line.com , The Grey's Anatomy production crew has hired former Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey to come on and play an assumed short story arc. Unfortunately, the ABC rep that TVLine spoke to refused to reveal any other details about Jennifer Grey's new role. So, we don't have a name for her character or what she'll be up to when she arrives. However, that has not stopped people from heavily speculating on who her character is. It's highly speculated that she could play character Jo Wilson's estranged mother.

In Nazi-occupied France, lauded musician Django Reinhardt — considered by many to be the first “guitar hero” — had two strikes against him: he was a jazz musician and he was a Gypsy. The Nazis loathed both groups, and in 1933, made that hatred part of the fabric of their government, banning banning most jazz (after over a decade of general suppression) and barring Gypsies from living in cities, instead forcing them into settlement camps.
Ten years later, Reinhardt was still able to find success at his art, but his beloved city of Paris was under Nazi control and the walls were starting to close in. Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury‘s Leatherface is yet another unique interpretation of Texas Chainsaw tonality. This is the beginnings of evil; a moody dive behind the monster’s mask. After The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 introduced a colorful misery, after roadkill grindhouse turned darkly comical, after 2003’s “gritty, dark reboot.” Here, the filmmakers behind Inside, Livide and Among The Living use Seth M. Sherwood’s screenplay to explore what could drive one child to his slaughterhouse obsession – with mixed results.
Though certainly not the franchise’s worst outing, it’s far from an instant classic and in some rather surprising news, it seems as if the origin story will be heading to Blu-Ray a lot sooner than we expected. That’s because we now know that Leatherface will be yours to take home on December 19th.

Measuring at nearly six feet tall was not always an advantage for the style influencer Andy Torres, especially during her teen years. “My mom couldn’t find clothes for me. I was so sad. I used to be bullied at school,” says the creator of the internationally renowned fashion blog StyleScrapbook. To remedy her youthful struggle, Torres launched Ait, her own brand of casual-cool clothes that women of every height can wear.
As a teen, Torres was convinced that she was destined to be a fashion designer, despite the bullying she suffered at school.

Halloween 2017 may belong to Jigsaw, or so Lionsgate would have you believe, but there’s another big-name horror flick ready to swoop into theaters.
Its name? Leatherface, a prequel movie coming by way of Julian Maury and Alexandre Bustillo. Initially released via DirecTV late last month, it’s fair to say that their Texas Chainsaw origin story hasn’t fared particularly well with critics – so far, at least – with our own Matt Donato labeling the spinoff a disappointment.
Nevertheless, with only two days standing between now and Leatherface‘s theatrical debut, the folks at Dread Central have conjured up two terrifying, blood-soaked stills in which our hapless cast begin to get acquainted with the demented Sawyer family. And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a nerve-racking clip to peruse. However, the question remains: Who will survive and, dare we say it, what will be left of them?...

After the New York Times published a report about allegations of sexual harassment made against Harvey Weinstein, British artist and writer Liza Campbell is sharing her own uncomfortable experience with the Hollywood producer.

Campbell says she and the 65-year-old powerhouse film executive met when they shared a cab in London.

The original Blade Runner is notorious for its multiple versions. The movie was first released in 1982 in its third form with a happy ending and film noir-inspired voiceover from Harrison Ford. That's the version that was a box office flop. Ten years later, a "director's cut" was made excising the voiceover and the happy ending. Ridley Scott went even further another 15 years later with his "final cut." All in, there have been eight different versions shown, five of which are available to fans in box set form. While not a unanimous opinion, most people prefer the final director's cut to the initial "workprint" release of Blade Runner. And the fact that it took so long for the preferred version to arrive has some...

I really hope that this upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel film Leatherface ends up being a good movie. I'm such a big fan of the franchise and it'd be great to see a decent new chapter that fans will enjoy.
Today we've got a new poster to share with you featuring a young Leatherface dragging his iconic chainsaw along a long direct road toward his house of horrors. I've also included an intense new clip featuring Stephen Dorff as a vengeful sheriff who has the young boy who will become Leatherface in the back of his police car, and he's not giving him back to his mom.
"In Texas, years before the events of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in the early days of the infamous Sawyer family, the youngest child is sentenced to a mental hospital after a suspicious incident leaves the sheriffs’ daughter dead. Ten years later, he kidnaps...

In 2007, an unassuming, bespectacled Michigan State University freshman named Tyler Oakley posted the first video to his then-new YouTube channel. Ten years later, Oakley is one of the internet's biggest stars and an iconic member of its Lgbtq community, and his friends and family have taken some time to honor him. To celebrate a decade of his videos, Oakley's manager Lisa Filipelli put together a supercut that features the best wishes of his YouTuber colleagues, his associates, and his parents.
As the montage begins, Oakley believes he is watching a compilation of notable moments from the history of his channel. Before long, however, Filipelli appears to inform the YouTube star that his friends have some words for him. Oakley's list of well-wishers includes online video notables like Joey Graceffa, Liza Koshy, Lilly Singh, Zoella, both Vlogbrothers, and his good friend/Psychobabble co-host Korey Kuhl, as well as his mom and dad,...

Directed by Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo (2007's Inside, aka À l'intérieur), Leatherface stars Sam Coleman, Sam Strike, James Bloor, Vanessa Grasse, Stephen Dorff (looking to go full vengeance mode à la Dennis Hopper in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2), and Lili Taylor as Verna Sawyer.
Leatherface will be released on September 21st on DirecTV, followed by a limited theatrical and full VOD release by Lionsgate on October 20th.

Who will survive and, dare we say it, what will be left of them?
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of horror’s modern-day cornerstones, and it’s fair to say that, even after all these years, Tobe Hooper’s cult classic stands the test of time. Fast forward to the present day and, in light of Hooper’s recent death, there’s an air of bittersweet sorrow looming over Leatherface, Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo’s horror prequel due to rev up the family chainsaw next month.
Of course, we say bittersweet because although it’s sad to lose such a remarkable talent, in many ways Leatherface will hope to honor Hooper’s spine-chilling legacy. And the film’s new and indeed final poster has arrived just in time for release. Embedded below, it’s a decidedly chilling tease of what’s to come, and we can only assume...

This Halloween, prepare to witness the true origins of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
We are, of course, referring to Leatherface, Julian Maury and Alexandre Bustillo’s long-anticipated prequel that has taken on a greater meaning since the death of Tobe Hooper, a recognized mainstay of Hollywood’s horror genre thanks to his involvement in Poltergeist, Salem’s Lot and of course, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which spawned a million nightmares in 1974 with its tale of deranged cannibals residing in America’s Deep South.
Now, almost 45 years since its inception, Maury and Bustillo are prepped and ready to deliver a freaky origin story centering on one of cinema’s greatest movie monsters. Working from a script penned by Seth M. Sherwood, Leatherface is little over a month away from its limited theatrical release, and the folks over at Bloody Disgusting have relayed a creepy new poster to stoke the embers of excitement.
