Michael Convertino's score for this film was composed for and recorded by two orchestras in different locations. Then the two separate pieces were mixed and overlaid with each other in the studio to create the final product.

The video game the boy receives as a present is a fictional game, but you can clearly see that he is holding a copy of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991), a NoA localization, for Super Nintendo.
