EGGS FROM 70 MILLION B.C. is the fourth instalment of Full Moon's series of children's sci-fi/fantasy flicks under the Josh Kirby banner. The good news is that this one's an improvement over the previous toy world-based story. The emphasis is more on the science fiction here, as Kirby's spaceship is taken over by pests which causes him to crash land on a prison planet where he encounters the usual foes. This is a film very much aimed at kids, complete with cheesy acting and cheesier puppet effects, but even if you feel it's all rather juvenile, you can still see the effort they've put into it.
