  • The first scene depicts a few naked men from the back as they are bathing. Naked women are also visible, but only very brief glimpses of their buttocks at a distance.

  • Hero fakes her own death, and those close to her claim that she died from grief after being falsely accused of infidelity. Upon learning that Hero was not actually guilty, Claudio breaks down into tears, thinking he has killed her.
