poor casting, low budget, b grade

Wilbur Smith is a great author - one of my favourites. Wild Justice is a great book. This however is NOT a great movie. It reeks of low budget and exceedingly poor casting. I don't know how Roy Schneidner got cast as the lead character in this movie but he is so, so very wrong for this part. But the whole movie falls so very far from expectations derived from having read the book By all means read the book - forget about the movie, it just is not worth it and will completely spoil your appreciation of the book. Whoever made this movie has in my opinion insulted the author with such a poor film.

This site will not let me post my review without a set number of lines - whatever that is. But I really don't have anything more to say about this disappointing movie so I guess I'll just rabbit on for a bit have many of Wilbur Smith's books been turned into movies? I only know of this one and shout at the devil

Believe me .......

This TV film is so bad, so bad, so bad ..... and so bad. I did not think that a UK company could make anything so bad for TV. And just thinking that a version was made for the cinema with some of the actors from this TV film, sometimes called "Covert Assassin", only makes the affront doubly worse. I will not speak about the acting as it was terrible; I will not speak about the plot as it was even worse; I will not speak about anything to do with this film, as it was so bad, so bad, so bad ......... and so bad. The good thing is that some brilliant type invented the interior-sprung mattress, which is where I went after about half of this codswallop.

The absolute greatest work of art I have ever seen...

Words can not even begin to explain the power of this brilliant film. The performances are so impacting they actually leave you in tears. If you liked "On the Wings of a Dove" and "Lawrance of Arabia" then you'll love this epic tale of the personal flaus and human emotion that some may never be able to comprehend. It is the best thing in film history to come along since "The Remains of the Day". Don't ever pass this film by. However, don't watch it too much. That's how fragile it's beauty is. If it is tampered with, it could fall apart just like that.
