A satire about showbiz: Peter Schlönzke was raised in the large mid-German industrial area "Ruhrgebiet" and is an adoring fan of the show "Fun Unlimited" and its host Heinz Wäscher. Peter wants to be like him, but when he attends a talent contest, he fails entirely, manages to get only a job as cable person. His view behind the background lets him see the real personality of his idol: an arrogant choleric. By his innocence and motivation Peter gets probated soon and manages to start a showbiz career himself. Written by

The opening credits have animated effects, like some names are put on the screen or kicked away with furry paws and other credits flood away. See more »
Though mainly using very simply, almost primitive jokes, somehow they managed to make the film really funny. This is probably due to Hape Kerkeling's appearance, because he already seems funny when he says just anything.
