Trivia

In 2011 the movie was adapted into Thomas Hermanns with the help of Hape Kerkeling himself. The songs were written by Hape Kerkeling's friend Achim Hagemann and also by Thomas Zaufke. It had premiere at the "Capitol Theater" in Düsseldorf, directed by Alex Balga. Dirk Bach, who was playing Hardy Loppmann (Schlöntzke's sketch partner) in the original movie, was play Heinz Wäscher for a long time. After his death in 2012 different actors were playing the role including Achim Mentzel and Thomas Hermanns himself. Until now the musical is still on the stage, only with a partly different cast in different cities over the years. Besides the original songs the musical also features the movie's theme song "Witzigkeit Kennt Keine Grenzen" and also Hape Kerkeling's hit "Das Ganze Leben Ist Ein Quiz" from 1992 (an unofficial cover version of the Italian hit "Sì, la vita è tutta un quiz" from 1988, originally performed by Renzo Arbore). Additionaly short musical numbers from the movie, like "Biene Maja", "Mein Vati hat drei grunzende Schweine" or the Uschi-Blum-song was also added into the musical just like the "Eurovision Theme" and the theme of the popular show 'tt1385819', which has a similar concept as "Witzischkeit kennt keine Grenzen". Well, my favorite Film of all times ...
13 June 2001 | by (Paderborn, Germany) – See all my reviews

Ok, a very subjective view, but this film has so many great jokes, I could watch it every week. Well, I've seen it about 20 times and know every sentence, but watching it with some friends, which know it as good either is just fun fun fun. Besides the storyline is quite critical and shows in an amusing way life in showbiz and life in a typical 'Ruhrgebiet' family.

As I said - great film ... ... ... 'Quatsch, dä Henne is Jungfrau !'
