This movie is basically a spoof of Tango and Cash. The two main characters, however, are not police officers but two rivals gay beutiticians who were brought together by circumstances.
Catherine, talking to Tango says: "Don't you know how to use a doorbell? Just stick out your finger and push." This is an adaptation of Lauren Bacall's line to Humphrey Bogart in "To Have and Have Not", where she says to him: "You know how to whistle, don't you? You just put your lips together and blow."
