- [meeting with Stathis Borans, now a bitter, crippled recluse]
- Martin Brundle: I saw you on the videotape. You were...
- Stathis Borans: Don't sit there!
- Martin Brundle: You were there the night my father died; he was working on a cure.
- Stathis Borans: That's why you dragged yourself all the way out here? To find out about a cure?
- Martin Brundle: You're my only hope.
- Stathis Borans: Ah. Oh, kid, the last thing *I* am, is *anybody's* hope. You really don't want to hear about this.
- Martin Brundle: I *have* to know.
- Stathis Borans: Brundle stole my girl, your mother. Got her pregnant. Caused her death. Dissolved my hand and my foot with fly vomit! I had no love for the man. He "bugged" me! As for the "cure" he was working on: he dragged your mother kicking and screaming into that telepod, that they might be fused together in one beautiful body. So your mother blew his brains out with a shotgun. *There's* your *cure*. Go *away*.
- Beth Logan: You bastard! Where's your compassion?
- Stathis Borans: [chuckles] I had to give it up; it cost me an arm and a leg!
- Martin Brundle: It cost you more than that.
- [from videotape, actually a deleted scene from THe Fly 1986]
- Seth Brundle (on videotape): I should feel exactly the same as before, but...I don't! I feel...very...energized, very coordinated. I feel as though I work better physically. You know, everything seems to work better than it did before.
- Veronica Quaife (on videotape): Why should that be?
- Seth: I dunno...It's possible that the teleporter somehow...*improved* me. It might have seen where things could be improved, theoretically, and it did it. I told it to be creative, and...I dunno, maybe it has been...
- Beth Logan: [Beth is being deloused] There's nothing wrong with me, you assholes! Let me go! Where's Martin? WHERE'S MARTIN?
- Scorby: [On intercom] It's dirty work, McKenzie. Somebody's got to do it. Make sure you don't miss anything.
- Seth: [Martin discovers videotape of Seth whose started to transform into Brundlefly] A fly got into the transmitter pod with me that first time when I was alone. The computer got confused. There was not supposed to be two separate genetic patterns and it decided to splice us together. It mated us, me and fly.
- Anton Bartok: [to Martin] You can finish your Father's work. You're just as brilliant as he was, perhaps even more so.
- Anton Bartok: [to Martin] I hope you and I can be very good friends, one day. Well, I know we are. I want us to... I want us to be more than just friends. I want you to think of me as your Dad. Huh?
- Martin Brundle: You mean this is mine? This is my place?
- Anton Bartok: Your place. Your private place. No more mirrors. No more prying eye. Well go on, take a look.
- Scorby: Are you having a problem, Miss Logan?
- Beth Logan: My card isn't working and it's not opening the door.
- Scorby: There's nothing wrong with your card. It's not your door anymore.
- Beth Logan: What are you talking about?
- Scorby: Well, it looks like your transfer to the day shift finally came through. Just like you want.
- Scorby: [Scorby gives Beth a piece of paper] Systems analysis? This is in a building across town.
- Scorby: We've already sent your personal affects over. I guess that's what you get for fucking around with Bartok's pet freak.
- [Scorby gives Beth the tape with the recording of Beth having sex with Martin]
- Scorby: For your eyes only.
- Stathis Borans: [On video being interviewed] You don't know what your talking about, I was there. Seth Brundle was trying to cure himself. Don't you see that? You've got to help Ronnie, she's pregnant with his child!
- Anton Bartok: [21:29] Five years and millions of dollars later and what we have is the world's most expensive juicer. The greatest invention in the history of mankind and we can't get the damned thing to work. It's like a bunch of chimpanzees trying to figure out how to operate a car. Your father was a brilliant man. Brilliant! But, erratic. When he died, some of his secrets died with him. You can finish your father's work. You're as brilliant as he was, perhaps even more so.
- Martin Brundle: [22:18] I don't like these things.
- Anton Bartok: It's because of the dog, isn't it? How long are you going to hold that against me? It was a tragic mistake. But that's in the past, now. You must concentrate on the future. The future is right here in this very room. Imagine a new era of surgery without incision. Cutting people open will be primitive; a thing of the past. All the things will become obsolete overnight. That's what these machines represent: A new age. If you want personnel, Dr. Trimble and his people are at your disposal. If you want to work alone, fine. It's your choice. Martin, we did everything we could for your dog. Take comfort in knowing he didn't suffer for long. Your father kept a record of his progress.
- Anchorwoman: [On TV] Brundle vanished late last night in the company of co-worker Beth Logan. There has been some speculation that Beth Logan may be the victim of possible kidnapping. But, this is yet to be confirmed.
- Beth Logan: [Beth chases after Martin whom has run off into the night] Stop!
- [Martin falls and collapses to the ground]
- Beth Logan: Please, don't run away from me.
- Martin Brundle: I don't know what to do.
- Beth Logan: [Sobbing] Me either. Martin, I'm not going to leave you.
- [Beth embraces Martin]
- Scorby: [Martin is attempting to escape the complex] You want out? You have to go through me, Marty,
- [Martin walks towards Scorby. Scorby punches Martin in the face knocking him to the floor]
- Scorby: I enjoyed that tape of you and your girlfriend. Rolled you like a jackhammer.
- [Scorby and Hargis laugh wickedly. An enraged Martin grabs Scorby and holds him by the neck and throws him through the glass in the entrance door. Martin escapes]
- Scorby: .
- Beth Logan: [Deleted scene. Martin and Beth are stopping for food at Bolton's Burgers] Hi! Hamburger and two big Pepsis.
- Angry dad at the snack bar: Kids will drive you crazy.
- Beth Logan: [Boys in car are hassling Martin over his face] Can you hurry please?
- Beth Logan: [Martin vomits on the car window, startling the kids] OH! Oh! God
- [Beth grabs the hamburger and Pepsis and races back to the car. Martin's vomit has melted the glass window on the other car]
- Beth Logan: Oh! my god!
- [Beth gets into the car and drives way]
- Angry dad at the snack bar: [Angry Dad comes out with the burgers and Pepsis] WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU IDIOTS DONE NOW!
- [He angrily drops the burgers and the Pepsi on the ground and whacks his car with his cap]
- Beth Logan: [Martin enters Bay 17] Martin.
- Anton Bartok: [Scorby shoots Martin] Don't shoot, you idiot!
- Scorby: Just shoot the damn thing.
- Anton Bartok: No!
- Beth Logan: NO!
- [Beth grabs Hargis's MP5A3 and tries to stop Hargis from shooting Martin. Martin throws Hargis into the lift shaft. Martin presses the lift button and the lift comes down and Hargis struggles to crawl out of the lift shaft]
- Scorby: HARGIS! HARGIS, GET OUT THERE!
- [the lift crushes Hargis's head causing blood to splatter everywhere. Beth screams. Scorby opens fires at Martin. Beth takes cover]
- Anton Bartok: I want him alive, damn you!
- [Scorby reloads his MP5A3]
- Anton Bartok: .
- Beth Logan: [Deleted scene - alternate ending. Beth comes out of the boathouse with a plate of food. She joins Martin and sits down next to him] How do you feel?
- Martin Brundle: Better. Much better.
- [a fly lands on the plate of food. Films ends]
- Martin Brundle: .
