When the film was released in Italy in November 1976, Franca Stoppi was condemned for immoral acts by a Roman judge because of the opening scene where the actress has (simulated) sex with a dog.
George Eastman's own Doberman, Satana, was used in the film.
Some sources incorrectly credit George Eastman as the director.
