Film debut of the California progressive psychedelic hippie band The Comfortable Chair, recording artists on CBS-Ode Records, whose six band members appear as themselves in the movie. They were discovered and produced by John Densmore and Robby Krieger of The Doors. This movie ends up being their only feature film performance credit.

Debut role for Joanna Cameron, known mostly for starring in the kid's superhero TV series The Secret of Isis (1975). While at college, Cameron became friends with Linda Hope, the daughter of Bob Hope. When she was introduced to Hope, he cast her in this film.
