"There's only one worse thing than one smart mouse, and that's three smart mice"

I can't say I am a huge fan of the Speedy Gonzales cartoons, but I don't hate them either. Well Worn Daffy is one of the better Speedy cartoons with Daffy, though I personally prefer it when Daffy is with Porky or with Bugs. The story is pretty routine here, and Speedy here can get a little too loud and abrasive. The animation is not always brilliant, but it is an improvement over the animation in something like Quacker Tracker and Fiesta Fiasco, while the music is pretty good here. Speedy is occasionally overdone, but Daffy is better here than I have ever seen him in a Speedy cartoon and he does really well. The dialogue is witty especially Daffy's closing line, and the sight gags aren't half bad either, in fact some of them are clever. Plus Mel Blanc is stellar on the whole. Overall, this is a decent Speedy cartoon, if not one of the best Looney Tunes cartoons. 7/10 Bethany Cox

In this one, Daffy makes Simon Legree look like Gandhi!

Daffy went through many phases over time, from the antic lunacy of the early shorts through larcenous greed and over-inflated ego to selfish and sometimes downright mean. This is the mean side of things. I suspect in his spare time, the mean Daffy snuck into the apartments of blind people and rearranged furniture or rolled the odd tricycle off a lawn and into a ditch. He refuses to share his water with Speedy and several other mice and of course gets the worst of it throughout. Fairly well done for a late 1960s short. Not too bad. Worth seeing. Recommended.
