- Some violence. Some of its comical. But a lot of it is realistic. Sam ending up in Hell, Sam dying off the plain, and multiple scenes where he's shot. One scene has him brutally eaten up by lions. Not really for kids.

- In one scene the devil asks Yosemite Sam "Who in Hell are you?". However, on the TV version, he asks him "What the devil is your name?"

- The main realistic thing is the nature of Hell. As well as the gritty realism of Yosemite Sam. Back before helicopter moms became popular, times were rougher. The image is diabolical and creepy for a cartoon of this time.
