Looney Tunes.
The following scenes have been cut from some TV prints:
On the syndicated "Merrie Melodies" show and the now-defunct WB station, two scenes where Daffy gets shot (first by Yosemite Sam in Bugs' movie, and then by hunters in his own movie) are removed. "Merrie Melodies" would simply replace these scenes with still shots of Bugs watching from offscreen, but the WB would censor these scenes altogether.
In addition, the WB would completely rearrange the sequencing in the short itself. The uncut version had the scenes in this order: 1) Daffy substituting for Bugs in Sam's scene; 2) Daffy, disguised as Elmer Fudd, trying to cut off the tree branch Bugs is sitting on; 3) Daffy fishing as Bugs and getting eaten alive by a giant fish; 4) Bugs being chased by Elmer and Daffy trying to shoot the rabbit through a tree hole, only to have the barrel stick out of a rabbit hole behind him; 5) Daffy substituting for Bugs in his airplane scene. On the WB, these scenes were shown in this order: 1) third scene; 2) second scene; 3) fourth scene; 4) fifth scene.
