After Clay Pike enters Rossana Doña Isabella's cabin, Cash Adams can be seen approaching from outside. His body is glistening as though still wet from the swim back to the ship, but when he enters the cabin, he's clearly dry.
(at around 1h 25 mins) A chase and battle along the trail occurs at night in dense jungle, but the sequence is inter-cut with two shots of the Spanish mounted pursuers in more open country and in daylight.
The time setting is announced at the beginning of the film as 1898, but later introduces historical character Jose Marti in the present. He was killed in 1895, but at least the actor playing Marti does look like the pictures of him when he was alive.
The plot summary of the film states that "A gun runner ... crosses paths with an enemy from the past and a beautiful revolutionary and her son." The beautiful revolutionary, Doña Isabella, does not have a son. The young boy, Juanito, is her brother.
