- A shot can startle Koops after a night in the high seat containing alcohol. When the hungover village sheriff, while looking for his drinking companion, the forester Heiko, meets the rock boss Andy Blome in the middle of the forest, it seems more than suspicious to him. Koops does not know that he has his missing friend on his conscience and is currently hunting down a fugitive gang member. Nevertheless, he decides not to let Andy out of his sight from now on. Together with his colleague Mette and the postman Heiner, Koops tries to find out what brought the biker boss from Hanover, together with his mysterious lover Nina and his devoted brother Chris, back home. Andy, who knows Koops and Heiner from their youth days together in St. Andreasberg, smells the roast. However, he not only has to fear the annoying law enforcement officers, but also the leak in his own ranks and the underworld boss Victor Koslow. Because the upcoming arms deal with him is actually a few sizes too big for Andy and his troop. The more Koops finds out about it, the more dangerous the situation becomes for him and his helpers.
- Country constable Frank Koops' first-ever murder victim in St. Andreasberg, a town in the Harz forest, is local crack shot Vanessa Riemann, who helped her bothers Patrick and Marco run a tourist inn, which wasn't lucrative, so they try guided tours but are looking to sell the state. He's forced to accept as 'partner' passing-by public prosecutor office official Miriam Nohe, who seduces him. Koops talent as character judge gets the better of all liars, working from the assumption it's all about the cash loot of a nearby bank robbery.
- Police officer Frank Koops (Aljoscha Stadelmann) knows from his own experience that there isn't much to gain in the tranquil Harz bank in St. Andreasberg: he was just refused a loan. Simone Schmidt (Julia Koschitz), who has just been released from prison, wants to clear out this branch with her two accomplices - and Koops has to join in. He has no other choice, because Simone, with whom he has already crossed swords, has his colleague Mette (Anna Fischer) in her power. The message is clear: the hostage will only stay alive if the coup succeeds. So Koops has to come up with something. While Mette is held prisoner in a holiday home by the unpredictable Björn (Jan Krauter), Koops sets out to carry out his daring plan with Simone and her unscrupulous friend Hagen (Michael Rotschopf). What the cunning Simone doesn't suspect is that despite her precautions, Koops has managed to secretly pass a message to his best friend Heiner (Moritz Führmann). But Simone also has a few surprises up her sleeve.
- Policeman Koops witnesses a car accident. The dying driver gives him an envelope with the part of a code. Shortly thereafter, Koops gets in the sights of a contract killer.
