- "Spirits of the Rainforest" is a feature documentary set in the remote Amazon rain forest of Manu National Park, in southeastern Peru. The film follows the intertwining stories of several researchers studying brilliantly-plumaged macaws and voracious giant otters as well as an American anthropologist (Dr. Glenn Shepard) living with a village of Machiguenga Indians, one of four ethnic groups that live in the park. The film follows the Machiguenga Indian Merino as he instructs his young son, Alejo, about the rain forest and also portrays the Machiguenga shaman, Mariano, who cures tribal members through the use of hallucinogenic drugs and in so doing visits with the forest spirits.
- Filmed within Peru's remote Manu National Park, "The Spirit Hunters" follows the American anthropologist Glenn Shepard as he lives with and learns from the Machiguenga Indians of the Upper Amazon. This isolated tribe, which once had contact with the powerful Inca Empire, believes that all rain forest plants and animals have arisen from their ancestors and thus possess human spirits and souls.
- Along the eastern edge of the Peruvian Andes runs a river called the Manu, the heart of one of the world's largest and most pristine rain forest parks in the world: Manu National Park and Biosphere Reserve. Filmed over several years, "Living Edens Manu" chronicles some of Manu's extraordinary inhabitants-a giant Harpy Eagle family that preys upon monkeys and sloths so that their chick can successfully fledge, jaguars, Giant Otters, 20-foot caimans (relatives of the alligator), tree sloths, anteaters, brilliantly-plumaged macaws, Howler, Squirrel, and Spider Monkeys, and tapir. Narrated by Edward James Olmos and winner of two Emmy Awards.
