- After four years in Norway, 13 year-old Negin and her family were deported from the small Norwegian town Farsund to Iran. During their time in Norway the family converted to Christianity. Apostasy is illegal in Iran, and the family risks severe punishment, but this was still not enough to convince the Norwegian authorities to stop the deportation. Back in Iran the family was denounced by their relatives, and fearing for their safety they had no other option but the flee once again.
