The first segment is titled "The Game Called Hollywood" which follows a young star-to-be (Ann-Margret) from nobody to star using a giant board game metaphor. Dean Martin joins Ann-Margret for a song medley sequence that is part country and part pop music. A comedy sequence has Larry Storch reporting on the two sides of the marriage of Dean Martin and Ann-Margret. Lucille Ball plays both herself and an autograph hound in a show business song and dance sequence. The finale finds Ann-Margret doing an on-location tribute to the USO with the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band.
