- A group of teenagers in Colorado find themselves being stalked and killed one by one by a mysterious figure with a hook, exactly one year after they covered up a friend's accidental death.
- When Scientists discover Sun Spores, an alien plague that instills a hatred so overwhelming that anyone infected won't stop until everything in their path is destroyed. Soon, the scientists decide that it's time to rid the Earth of the Transformers and plan to use Optimus Prime's lifeless body to lure every Transformer to their lab and infect them with the Sun Spores. When the Sun Spores outbreak rages out of control, the universe's only hope is to revive Optimus Prime. But even if Optimus recovers, he and his Autobots will need to rely on Galvatron and the remnants of his Decepticons to help reclaim the Autobot Matrix of Leadership from an infected Rodimus Prime and use it to find a cure for the hate plague.
- Lion-O is haunted by the recurring nightmares of Thunderians being killed on Thundera while he fled to the safety of Third Earth with Jaga and the other ThunderCats. Jaga later tells Lion-O that 3 more Thundercats have, in fact, survived and are also living on Third Earth. The ThunderCats decide to search for the 3 new Thunderians, but Mumm-Ra has plans as well and takes the new Thunderians as his prisoners to Fire Rock Mountain. Lion-O loses the Sword of Omens in an avalanche while Panthro battles the Fist-Pounder with the ThunderTank as the ThunderCats close in on rescuing the Thunderians from Fire Rock Mountain, but they'll need supernatural help if they are to pass through the Thundranium gasses to reach them.
- A recent college graduate from Chicago visits her pregnant sister in rural Willow Springs and meets a charming cowboy who goes to humorous lengths to win over her broken heart caused by an incident she tries to keep secret.

Sung-chun tells everyone Sun-jae is his real son, but in actuality he is not. Min-chul and Minji hate their father, Sun-jae and Sun-jae's mother. Sun-jae meets Yonsoo and Sena while visiting Grace Home (an orphanage). Yonsoo is touched by Sun-jae's kindness. Yonsoo accidentally burns Sena with hot water and is guilt-ridden. In 1995, Yonsoo leaves Sena at the orphanage to look for a job and earn money so that Sena can join her later. She promises to meet Sena at the Seoul Tower on Christmas Day.
- This special was a compilation of 2 weeks worth of scenes from the "Sunset Beach" soap opera's "Shockwave" storyline that details an earthquake occurring at Sunset Beach which results in a tsunami that overturns a cruise ship stranding many of the characters at sea. This one-hour special showcases the characters' struggles in the overturned ship and their efforts to reach safety with a cliff-hanger ending to bait the viewers into watching the "Sunset Beach" series to find out what everyone's fate will ultimately be.
