This special showcases a one man show with Mitchell playing the abrasive yet lovable Alf as he interacts with an audience jam packed with celebrities from politics , sports , TV and movies . Alf rants and raves while fielding questions and comments from the star studded bunch . While it's all basically scripted by Speight , the celebrities are playing themselves and I'm sure some ad libs slipped into the mix . It's a very enjoyable time watching Alf Garnett give it to all these Brit Bigwigs !!
