It's main motive seems to kill anyone who stands in it's way, including the police!

Ajaatshatru is enraged at this, he gathers together his armies and storms the unsuspecting Vaishali and virtually burns the city down, killing almost everyone in it. This accomplished, he rushes to free his beloved from the dungeons. He does set her free but it is not the same Amrapali; this Amrapali is quite different. She is not at all thrilled to be in the presence of her conqueror lover. She teaches him what he won in the battle ground but what he lost in reality.

Iqbal undergoes surgery and a pace-maker number 786, considered lucky in Islamic faith, is attached to his tiny heart. But Don and a prostitute by the name of Banoo have other plans for Anwar, which they carry out successfully, and abduct young Iqbal, who ends up growing on the streets as an orphan named Allah Rakha. Several years later, Allah Rakha has grown up, and is friendly with a prostitute named Rani, who happens to be the daughter of Banoo. When News-reporter decides to do TV report on Rani's life, she does not realize that she has opened up a Pandora's box, that will bring the past back to life, and expose her life to danger, deceit, and possible death.

He takes on the identity of Ramu, a friend of Shravan, and goes to live with Shravan's parents, Lalaji (Om Prakash) and Malti (Nirupa Roy), little knowing that they are the parents of a man he killed while escaping from the police.
- A man (Amitabh Bachchan) is found wounded on railway tracks and when he awakens he has no memory of who he is and doesn't remember anything about his life. Six years later he is living with a wealthy couple and is now named Naresh Dutt. One day he begins to regain his memory when he watches a film and realizes that the actress in the film is related to him somehow. It is then that he discovers the actress in the film is none other than his wife Rekha Roy (Rekha). He finds out that she is now a very successful film actress changing her name to Sunita Devi and her manager is none other than Ranjeet Malik (Prem Chopra) who used to be his best friend. In flashbacks he remembers that his real name is Amit Roy and Ranjit was the one who attempted to kill him six years earlier by throwing him off the train he was traveling on with Rekha. Amit also discovers that his young son who is now 10 years old has been sent to a boarding school and sets out a plan to regain custody of his son. First however he plans on taking revenge against Ranjit. Amit comes up with a plan to re-enter Rekha and Ranjit's lives by disguising himself as a film producer. He meets with Rekha and Ranjit and offers Rekha the opportunity to act in his new film titled Do Anjaane. Rekha and Ranjit grow suspicious of Naresh Dutt as they start to realize that he bears a striking resemblance to Rekha's supposedly deceased husband Amit Roy and the storyline of his film eerily mirrors Rekha's past life. Will she discover the true identity of Naresh Dutt? and what revenge has Amit/Naresh got planned for Ranjit?
- Widowed and ailing Savitri Choudhury lives a wealthy lifestyle along with her son, Anil, in a palatial mansion in India. What Savitri does not know is that Anil has hired Deepali to act as his fiancée, and that Deepali herself is not who she claims to be, and is actually in love with a local horse-riding peasant, Ajit, whose father was convicted of killing Savitri's husband, and soon Ajit himself will be arrested by the Police for having an affair and then killing a woman named Sita.

She is told in no uncertain terms that Amar is in jail for murder - for killing the brother of his former lover, Sapna. She also found out that this is not true and would strive to the best of her merit to get Amar release from jail because she is in love with him and would like to marry him.

Dilip meets him, hires him as a office staffer, and asks him to impersonate him in order to meet Deepa, the only daughter of wealthy Vinodbabu, and Shekhar agrees. Shekhar meets Deepa and they are attracted to each other. Shekhar decides to tell her the truth about himself and returns to Ramgarh. Once there, he finds history repeating itself as Dilip is in love with an Adivasi belle, Jhumki, but refusing to marry her.

In order to avenge this Maan Singh decides to abduct the son of Maharaj, Chimpoo. Years later a young man enters the lives of the Singhs claiming to be Chimpoo; while Maharaj and his wife, Rukmini is happy in having Chimpoo back; they are unaware that this young man is actually a convict, Badal who is impersonating Chimpoo with the intention of pocketing their wealth. Situations change Badal and he decides to reveal his true identity to the Singhs who also promises to re-unite the family with their son, Chimpoo.
- Shyam works for Mr. Choudhry, and lives in a small village in India with his mother. Ranjeet, Shyam's childhood friend, returns from overseas, and all are overjoyed to see him back. Ranjeet and Shyam have a lot in common: Both are handsome, dedicated, pleasant and polite; Both share the same date of birth; and both also love the same woman, Barkha. A couple of sizzling hummable songs are thrown in . Veteran Pradeep Kumar is good as the unsuspecting husband and caring father. In the end, Bindu redeems herself and donates her eyes ( while dying ) to Anil's blind sister Vidya Sinha ( in a small role ) . The movie is a delight to watch . It remains with you for a long time after it has ended.

Years later, his past comes to haunt him in the shape and form of Shyama's relatives, and Ranibala's suitor, Manmohan, who will not leave any stone unturned to blackmail Gopalnath for the rest of his life.
- Kedarnath is employed with a local clock/watch repair shop, owned by a parsimonious Adarshan Lala. Kedarnath goes out of his way to help a destitute woman, Maya, who husband is missing, with two daughters, Veena and Vidya. Kedarnath rents a room with them, writes letters to her on behalf of her husband, Pannalal, and even arranges the marriage of Veena with the son of Daulatram. When Maya tells him that she has no money to pay for the marriage expenses, he steals cash from his employer, and tells Maya that the money is from Pannalal. And all along telling Maya that he is a close friend of Pannalal, even though he has never met Pannalal, leave alone know him, making one think as to what devious secret Kedarnath is hiding, and what is the reason behind Pannalal's disappearance.
- Dara and Karan, the sons of two of the victims of dacoit Jogi Thakur, wait many years to exact their revenge. When the Thakur's colleague Raja Singh cheats him and runs away with his loot, Jogi is arrested and sentenced for life imprisonment. Years later Jogi escapes from the prison to get hold of Raja and take back his booty, but finds his face on all the posters in the village to find him dead or alive with a reward of fifty thousand rupees. When Karan gets to know Jogi has escaped he goes looking for him. Dara also join hands with Karan to even the score with the dreaded dacoit.
- Sunil, son of D.I.G. Shyamlal Mehra, is back in India after successful completion of his medical studies. He gets an offer to work with his fiancée Dr. Neeta Verma, in a private hospital but he joins a municipality hospital, instead. According to him medicinal practice is a sacred profession which should not be treated as business. A short visit to a small village inspires Sunil to come and stay at that village and serve poor villagers, who do not have a single doctor in nearby dozens of villages. He comes to the village and sets up a hospital with limited facilities. He encounters village belle Phoolwa and his father Dayal. Phoolwa cooks food for Sunil and also helps him in routine hospital activities. Sunil and Phoolwa fall in love and decides to marry but Dayal opposes this alliance because Phoolwa is not his real daughter but his younger brother dacoit Lakhan's, who wants to kill Sunil since he is son of a police officer who wants to arrest him. Police force raids Lakhan's vicinity to arrest him but he only gets injured and escapes. Dayal and Phoolwa finds and brings him to surrender to the police and get him treated by doctor Sunil. But Lakhan dies. D.I.G. accepts Phoolwa as his daughter in law.
