Bruce Reynolds was born on September 7, 1931 in London, England as Bruce Richard Reynolds.
He was best known for Masterminding the biggest heist in UK History; The Great Train Robbery of 1963. Which became the subject of numerous books, films and documentaries, including; Buster (1988), Robbery (1967), The Great Train Robbery (2013), Mrs Biggs (2012) to name a few, and also his own personal memoirs published in his book; 'The Autobiography Of A Thief'. Reynolds was considered the inspiration for 'Michael Caine''s 1965 depiction of fictional spy Harry Palmer in film The Ipcress File (1965).
He was married to Frances (who later changed her name to Angela), together they had one son; Nick Reynolds.
