Tom Zickler (also known as Thomas Zickler) was born in 1964 and is a German film producer based in Berlin, Germany.
Before Zickler studied film production at Germany's well-known film school HFF Babelsberg (1989- 1995), he worked for DEFA (1986 - 1989) - the biggest film studio in the then existing DDR. During his studies, Zickler met actor/producer/writer/director Til Schweiger who became a close friend. Together, they founded their first film production company "Mr. Brown Entertainment". Their first movie Knockin' on Heaven's Door (1997) was not only a huge success with admissions of more than 3 million but remains a cult favorite with audiences worldwide. Many film projects followed since then, including Der Eisbär (1998).
In 2004, Zickler became the managing director of Til Schweiger's second film production company, Barefoot Films. As partners, they produced many of the most successful movies in Germany: Barefoot (2005) grossed about $7,7 million, Rabbit Without Ears (2007) was up to 2014 their most successful film and earned some $74 million locally, followed by the sequel Rabbit Without Ears 2 (2009). Kokowääh (2011) grossed $43 million followed by a sequel that hit theaters in 2013.
The story of Friendship! (2010) is based on Zickler's life, which he produced as well. It was the most successful German movie in 2010.
In December 2014, the family-friendly dramedy Head Full of Honey (2014) was released. It is their most successful film to date breaking the 6, 3 million admissions barrier of their 2007 hit Rabbit Without Ears (2007), reaching an audience of 7 million.- Frederic L. Charles "Chuck" McIlvain was born in Woodland Hills, CA. He attended TAFT High school and studied Environmental Engineering at the University of California Berkeley. Chuck went on to study animation at Expressions in San Fransisco. His first job was at Sony Pictures Imageworks where he would craft out a successful and meaningful career in the pipeline. It was Chuck's unique engineering background and knowledge of programming that made him a valuable asset to SPI.
After 15 years at SPI, Chuck went on to work at Walt Disney Imagineering. His main project was the James Cameron ride, Flights of Passage at Animal Kingdom. Chuck worked at WDI for 2 years before moving on to Netflix in Hollywood.
Chuck worked at Netflix for a mere three months before he was tragically killed on the MV Conception off Santa Cruz Island on Labor Day (2nd Sept) 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Jasmine Lord- Sára Gelecsényi was born on 1 November 1954 in Budapest, Hungary. She was an actress, known for Öregberény (1993), Különös házasság (1984) and Kinek a törvénye? (1979). She died on 2 September 2019 in Budapest, Hungary.

A pillar in forming professional theatrical training at universities, Jack was the esteemed teacher and mentor to many great actors and actresses. Among his best-known students were Kathy Bates, Powers Boothe, Patricia Richardson, Stephen Tobolowsky, Beth Henley, Hugh O'Gorman, Dylan Baker, Sandra Santiago, Regina Taylor, hit playwright Jeff Heifner and Jeffrey Nordling, who most recently starred in the HBO hit Big Little Lies with Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. Jack's sole on-camera performance was as Professor Ogilvy which he perfectly portray in Pendragon Pictures' authentically adapted film of H. G. Wells classic novel War of the Worlds titled "War Of The Worlds The True Story" directed by Timothy Hines and produced by Susan Goforth.
"I was a teen actress in Seattle when Jack was head of the Professional Actors Training Program at the University of Washington and I was smitten with his productions," remembers actress, writer and producer Susan Goforth. "I called Jack up and humbly asked him to audition for our epic series "Chrome" and we instantly bonded over our passion for the love of language and the mastery of such. Timothy Hines and Jack became kindred souls over their shared mastery of American theater so, when we launched War of the Worlds Jack was all in."
"Capturing Jack Clay on film was a gift and privilege," adds director and screenplay writer Timothy Hines. "He understood how important maintaining the classic language of H. G. Wells was and he helped set the tone and temper of the film with his performance. I am forever grateful to have his spirit live on in my film."
Jack Clay was a graduate of Northwestern University school of speech under Alvina Krause. He taught at Oberlin College (1956 - 1957), the University of Miami (1957 - 1961), and the University of South Florida (1961 - 1966). He also headed the Professional Actors Training Programs at Southern Methodist University (1966 - 1986) and the University of Washington (1986 - 1991.) While in Dallas, he founded "Stage #1," a professional acting company, and served as its artistic director for eight years.
Jack's teachers included Lee Strasberg, Martha Graham and Eric Hawkins. Jack was also a distinguished member of the College of Fellows of the American Theatre.
