Today, he proudly serves the cast & crew as the On-Set Medic in the Motion Picture & Television Industry.
After working in the Motion Picture and Television Industry and reading the scripts of the many productions he has had the opportunity to work, he decided to begin creating his own. The first was No Place I'd Rather Be which is a faith-based, family-friendly script which provides everything a family film should contain: action (some fighting scenes), adventure, comedy, drama, romance, and a touch of a western flair! This will be a fun-filled family film that will be enjoyed for many years to come. Right out of the gate, it was nominated for Best First Time Screenplay Award in 2021. Shortly thereafter, Steve developed a 1970's period television series based on his upbringing. It has been compared to The Wonder Years meets The Brady Bunch and Stand By Me. The series, The Paperboy Chronicles has won 3 Best Television Series Script awards, a Finalist Best TV Script award, a Best Short Script award, Best Writer Award (nominated by other writers), and Best For Family's Script.
Furthermore, Steve's an accomplished bass guitarist/background-harmony vocalist & has performed in several bands since high school; even showcasing for Geffen Records (Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Guns 'n' Roses) with the Ventura, California rock 'n' roll band, Checkmate.
