During the AMC panel at Thursday's Television Critics Association event, network head Charlie Collier was quick to resolve those persistent rumors about the fate of the cable channel's flagship series "Mad Men". According to the report from Variety, the Emmy Award winning series will be back this summer for season three – despite the fact that no agreement has yet been reached with series creator and head writer Matthew Weiner. "As long as we get the writers' room up and running over the next few months, we're fine," Collier told the crowd, adding that he is optimistic that a deal will be reached with Weiner imminently. What that deal may cost the network is unknown. Mark your calendars: Jon Hamm's first appearance on "30 Rock" will air on Feb. 5, NBC confirmed Monday. The "Mad Men" actor has a three-episode arc on the NBC comedy in 2009; he'll play a potential love interest for Liz Lemon (Tina Fey).
