Jeffersons Actor Paul Benedict Dies at Age 70

Actor Paul Benedict, best know for his role as the English neighbor Harry Bentley on The Jeffersons, has died at age 70. Benedict, who was born in New Mexico, was found dead Monday on Martha's Vineyard, the Associated Press reports. His brother, Charles, says that authorities are investigating the cause of death.Benedict, who appeared in the comedic ensemble movies A Mighty Wind and Waiting for Guffman, began his acting career in the 1960s in the Theatre Company of Boston. Oprah Winfrey, Angelina Jolie Top Showbiz Power List

What hasn't Oprah Winfrey done? The talk show host, magazine editor, philanthropist and icon was named the most influential woman in the entertainment industry in the Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment: Power 100 list. Winfrey was chosen "based on her dizzying array of Oprah-branded media and her immense cultural influence," the trade publication's editor-in-chief Elizabeth Guider said in a statement Friday.Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie topped the list of the highest-paid actresses. Jolie, whose 2008 movies grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide, commands more than $15 million a movie. On the Power 100 list, Jolie was followed by Julia Roberts and 2007's best-paid actress, Reese Witherspoon.

Jonas Brothers Toast Grammy Nod - with Cider!

Boy George Found Guilty of Imprisoning Male Escort

The jury in a London court sided with Audun Carlsen, 29, who claimed that the former Culture Club frontman (real name George O'Dowd), 46, had handcuffed him and beat him with a metal chain.
