This adrenalised street opera from feted indie film-makers Josh and Benny Safdie has been hailed in some quarters as a revelatory breakthrough for former Twilight star Robert Pattinson, shedding his celebrity status to “disappear” into the role of an aggressively unsympathetic street hustler.
