X Factor producers have said contestant Alan Turner's place on the show is not in jeopardy. Tabloid reports about the aspiring singer claimed that he lied about not knowing his real family at the show's auditions. The call centre worker said on last Saturday's episode that he "always wanted to get to know his real family". He also revealed that he was put in foster care aged four. However, his father Alan Snr. insisted that his son grew up with his grandmother.
