Salome Sowa is a non-binary writer, director, production designer and multimedia artist born in Atlanta, Georgia and based in New York City. An alum of Tisch's UGFTV program, they are passionate about highlighting neurodivergent and queer experiences within the medium. Their work focuses on themes of psychology, philosophy and spirituality, and aims to embody and dissect the AFAB experience of sex, sexuality, and the body through a more nuanced approach of queer existence.
They cite directors such as Julia Ducournau, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, and Hal Ashby among others to have been highly inspirational to cultivating a voice within their body of work.
