Welcome to this week’s review of Aew’s latest television show, Collision, which brings wrestling back to Saturday nights! We’ve got the commentary team of Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone calling the action, so let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Bryan Danielson def. Shane Taylor The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Taylor threw Danielson halfway across the ring! Danielson grappled Taylor to the mat and connected with hammer and anvil blows until Taylor escaped. Taylor rocked Danielson with a shot to the jaw. Taylor blistered Bryan’s chest with thunderous chops. Danielson returned fire with kicks to Taylor. Danielson got Taylor to the mat and stomped on Taylor’s leg. Danielson tied up Taylor’s leg in the ropes and nailed Taylor with a running dropkick. Taylor blocked a kick and countered with a massive knee lift to Danielson, sending Danielson spilling out of the ring.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features Fourteen matches, though we also get some of Aew’s bigger stars on the show, which makes up for the ridiculous amount of matches Imho. Anyway, on with the review…
Match #1: Action Andretti def. Tony Deppen
My Thoughts: Action Andretti continues his winning streak in this opening match, though why Deppen was allowed to get as much offence as he did – especially against the guy that beat Chris Jericho in his debut. Still, a great start to this week’s Dark.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Evil Uno def. J. Spade
My Thoughts: Evil Uno’s turning to the dark side continues… I sincerely hope this new vicious streak continues and we get a stronger, more dominant Dark Order too. Shame the audience wasn’t into this one though.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #3: Parker Boudreaux def.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features nine matches and is once again filmed at the Dark studios in Orlando, Florida rather than coming from on the road… Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Ar Fox & Top Flight def. The Wingmen
My Thoughts: What’s this? The Wingmen in a decent match shocker! I know that’s hard to believe given how they’ve been booked in forever… but it looks like the were given a chance to shine against Top Flight and Ar Fox, who also managed to draw out decent wrestling from the normally-comedic team. Surprising but superb start to this week’s show.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Red Velvet def. Sofia Castillo
My Thoughts: What went on here then? Red Velvet has a good match on Elevation then we get this on Dark. In one match she looks strong and...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features thirteen(!) matches… Yes, the match count is creeping up, something I’m not a fan of! Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Christopher Daniels def. Brian Pillman Jr.
My Thoughts: It’s great to see Christopher Daniels in action again, even if it is on Dark. This was a decent back and forth, with an outcome that was always in doubt (which is great to see!). Daniels hit the Bme for the crowd-pleasing finish.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Emi Sakura def. Jada Stone
My Thoughts: Jada Stone got one move in here, I’m not sure that even qualifies as a typical Aew quasi-squash Tbh. Not much wet on here, so not much more to say than that!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Ryan Nemeth def. Dak Draper
My Thoughts: Who cares… It’s a Ryan Nemeth match.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Aew Universal once again. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary as usual, so let’s get to the action!
Match #1: The Renegade Twins def. Rocky Radley & Allie Recks
My Thoughts: The Renegade Twins get to face the enhancement talent rather than Be the enhancement talent? What a shocker. And they got some decent competition in Radley and Recks (that’s actually one hell of a tag team name Imho), making this another… let’s say it together… Aew quasi-squash match!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Anthony Ogogo def. Meto
My Thoughts: This was Anthony Ogogo doing his usual thing of playing with his opponent, this time for longer than usual. I do wonder where Ogogo’s career can go beyond these kinds of matches?
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #3: Peter Avalon & Ryan Nemeth def. Adrian Alanis...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got Excalibur, Caprice Coleman and Mark Henry on commentary and I’m digging the switch-ups we’ve had on the commentary team in recent weeks… Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Angelico and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) def. Ar Fox, Liam Gray and Adrian Alanis
My Thoughts: There was nothing remarkable about this match as Private Party continue to coast along and not live up to the hype of their signing back at the beginning of Aew. In fact, Private Party on Being the Elite is Better than Private Party in the ring! So in the end we get an average score for an average match.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose def. Angelica Risk...

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week is once again being taped at Aew Universal. We join Taz and Excalibur, commentators for Dark as usual, for eight matches and what looks, on paper, like a stacked card!
Match #1: Lee Moriarty def. Leon Ruffin
My Thoughts: Got to love a match that features two great wrestlers like Moriarty and Ruffin. This one could’ve done with a more animated and excited audience – or one that was more interested in Wrestling rather than high-flying or comedy antics. Other than that this was a solid affair with two guys who looked like they were determined to put on a great wrestling match.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Bear Country def. Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray
My Thoughts: I always love seeing Bear Country in action on Aew programming, it’s just a shame that they don’t seem to be on...

It’s time for this week’s review of Aew: Dark, which emanates from Aew Universal and features a whopping 14 matches in just over an hour… So you know what that means. Squash-tastic action this week! We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary so let’s get right to it.
Match #1: Jay Lethal def. Jd Drake
My Thoughts: This was a great opener with one of my personal faves Jd Drake holding his own against Jay Lethal. I know Drake isn’t going to win this but he gave one hell of a performance, making Lethal work for the win. One day Drake will get a solo win against one of Aew’s big-name stars.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: The Butcher & The Blade def. Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean
My Thoughts: The Butcher follows up his fantastic singles match last week with a total squash match on poor Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean.

It’s Wednesday morning so you know what that means… It’s time for our review of this weeks Aew: Dark, which this week comes from Aew Universal in Orlando, Florida. Like the show itself, let’s get right into the action!
Match #1: Julia Hart def. Kelsey Heather
My Thoughts: Julia Hart continues her aggressive streak Again in this match, beating the hell out of her Kelsey Heather – an opponent who tried to trash talk too much and paid for it. Long may this streak continue as it’s certainly improved the presentation of Hart over the past few weeks. Hart ended the match with the same great-looking submission finish too!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Powerhouse Hobbs def. Gus De La Vega
My Thoughts: Hobbs laid out Vega before the bell even rang and then pummeled him around the ring in a squash match… Literally! Hobbs squashed Vega against the ropes,...

This weeks Elevation was a solid, if average, affair so lets see what Dark has for us… I’m Phil, this is Nerdly, and our Aew: Dark review starts now!
Match #1: Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston def. Milk Chocolate
My Thoughts: This one was over before it began. Moxely and Kingston got the jump on Milk Chocolate before Justin Roberts had even finished their introduction and the match was over in just over 30 seconds.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Evil Uno, Alan “5” Angels & Colt Cabana def. Andrew Palace, Spencer Slade & Cole Karter
My Thoughts: Another great trios match from the Dark Order. Whilst Evil Uno and Colt Cabana are the names in this match is was Alan “5” Angels that stole this one – dominating their opponents and looking damn tough doing it!
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #3: Lance Archer def. Angel Fashion
My Thoughts: Jesus… What an entrance for Archer!

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, which can’t be any worse than this weeks Elevation can it? Let’s find out!
Match #1: Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks def. Aaron Frye & Brick Aldridge
My Thoughts: Well this was Supossed to be a tag match… Instead we got Powerhouse Hobbs squashing his opponents in around 30 seconds as Ricky Starks looked on in repose. Isn’t it about time Hobbs got some legitimate competition?
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Leyla Hirsch def. Diamante
My Thoughts: Well damn! This was a well-matched pair. Diamante and the Legit one went toe-to-toe in a match that looked brutal – literally like neither woman pulled any punches… or kicks! Leyla Hirsch looked like she was having as much fun here as she did in her tag matches with Ryo Mizunami.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #3: Varsity Blonds def. Liam Gray & Adrian Alanis

This weeks Aew Dark: Elevation got a Lot of things right, so lets see if Aew can follow-up one great show with another… Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark!
Match #1: The Acclaimed def. Fuego Del Sol and D3
My Thoughts: No! Not another squash match for poor Fuego Del Sol. He’s got to get a win in someday doesn’t he? Much like their E;levation appearance, this match was pretty much to show how The acclaimed are back together and just as good as before Bowen’s injury. Just a shame Fuego had to be in yet another losing side.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Matt and Mike Sydal def. David Ali and Aaron Frye
My Thoughts: The Sydal’s on Another episode of Dark; and after Matt appeared on Elevation the night before. I said it my review of that show and I’ll say it again,...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the seventh episode of a show that has, honestly, varied wildy in quality… and length. Let’s see shat this weeks episode has to offer!
Match #1: Ray Fenix def. Chuck Taylor
My Thoughts: Ray Fenix is bloody good isn’t he? Somehow he seems to pull out new moves almost each and every week. Here it was a nasty leg/rope tie up on Chuck Taylor that looked really aggressive – as was a lot of this match. This was very much mat and submission wrestling rather than high-flying crazy stuff, yet with just enough flair to make this a “Ray Fenix” match. Gotta love the recent addition of Alex Abrahantes on the mic for Penta and Fenix too!
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Ryan Nemeth def. Ryzin
My Thoughts: Fresh of his engorged member escapades on Being the Elite,...
