Maurice Lofton

Maurice Lofton was born and raised in the South Austin neighborhood of Chicago.
At the age of 7, he made an on-screen appearance as a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, interviewing Oprah Winfrey with his elementary class.
Maurice attended and graduated from Lane Technical College Prep High School in Chicago. During his senior year, he auditioned and was cast a walk on role in the Gary Fleder sports biopic "The Express" (2008) starring Rob Brown and Dennis Quaid.
He landed his first credited speaking role in the independent feature film entitled "I'm Coming For You" (2018) filmed in Illinois. He has been cast in episodes for several network TV shows including "Chicago Fire", "Empire" and Showtime Network's "The Chi".
